If I could give this product TEN stars, I would. After years of trying several different overpriced products that took 2-3 uses to entirely remove tan (or had multiple defective applicators or were constantly out of stock, etc) and out of complete frustration, I searched "Best Sunless Tan Remover" and found this product to be highly recommended by several different sources. I tried it the same day that I received it to AGAIN try to clean up considerable residual tanner that yet ANOTHER disappointing product failed to remove. As recommended, I left it on for three minutes (as opposed to TEN with all of the other products) and ALL of the residual tanner was immediately GONE. Skin is left incredibly soft/smooth (no sticky remover residue and no need to use a body wash after removal). I don't even need to moisturize prior to reapplying tanner. I've written to the seller to thank them for this amazing product - I will NEVER use anything else! Give it a try - you won't be sorry!

It does not work. I've tried it twice to remove self tanner.

I recently bought a new self tanner to try. It was a serum you add to a moisturizer. After the first use I saw no results. So I then thought it would be a brilliant idea to dap a tiny bit on my finger and swipe it directly to my arm. Well, the next morning I woke up with a large dark spot! (Ok the tanner worked) but I could not go around waiting for this to fade. I purchased this tan remover and thankfully it was delivered in the same day. The second photo was after the first use. It did a good job, honestly no one would have noticed the spot but I figured I’d use it a second time to really get rid of the spot. (Another brilliant idea…) After the second time I had some irritation, but I blame myself for that. If you need a good self tanner definitely buy this. It is pricey, but the container is huge!

I was so interested in this product because it seemed TOO GOOD to be true. Surprise… it is, but it’s not bad. The before picture was of my tan after 10 days of not exfoliating, so as you can imagine, it wouldn’t have had to take much effort at all to remove. As for the product, it smelled exactly like something so familiar but I couldn’t think of exactly what it was… then it came to me: ORANGE PALMOLIVE DISHSOAP. This doesn’t smell sexy or like spa, but fortunately it‘s not strong and it does not linger at all. A little DOES go a long way - for my entire body I used *maybe* 1/6 - 1/5 of it. Its gray colored with super fine, uniform, exfoliating particles in it. You put this in dry skin, wait 2 minutes, then use a wet exfoliating glove/mitt to remove your tan. I don’t know why you have to wait 2 minutes because there is no aha/bha exfoliating property to it, I even tasted it to check if it was acidic.. it wasn’t lol. Don’t do that. I know this has urea in it but it’s nothing like Amlactin or any exfoliating product that uses urea. The micro particles almost have a desiccant property to them because once you rub it in & wait, it dries in ~ 30 seconds. Results: See for yourself. Nothing crazy. Didn’t remove the stubborn DHA from my hair follicles. The glove does 80% of the job and I truly feel that I could have achieved (maybe) a comparable level of tan removal with just my exfoliating glove & soap. And let me tell y’all, I wanted this to work like the pictures so I was SCRUBBING VERY HARD. Still, no crazy results. Did it remove a tremendous amount of tan? Absolutely!! Was it easier than using the stiff side of a bath bristle brush? Absolutely!! Did it save me time? Yes. Is this a gentle scrub? NO, especially not when you pair it with an exfoliating glove. Much to my surprise, it didn’t aggravate my eczema at all even though it exfoliated my legs to a point where it felt like I shaved them. Probably ok for sensitive skin people. Would I buy this again? Honestly yes for the $28 it was listed for. I came back to write my review and was shocked to see its $38 now. Are y’all CRAZY? This isn’t worth $38 dollars: know your product’s worth. It’s a nice addition to my routine but I’d rather save myself an extra $10 and not buy this than splurge on something that doesn’t smell nice or even have anti-aging skincare in it. It should actually be $25 like seriously I understand that brands want to come across as lux but this doesn’t perform as well as it’s advertised and in this economy, $25 IS LUX!!!!!

If you are a spray tan girly, you NEED this!! I have tried all the tricks to get my old spray tan off (usually takes me 2 showers to really scrub it all off). This stuff literally came off in 60 seconds. Almost felt like an exfoliating scrub but not as harsh!! AND it smells good. Ladies, buy this product now

It’s okay. It does remove tan well, but not completely. This works for most tans and doesn’t break me out or give me a rash.

I don’t know what witch created this magical concoction but it’s a miracle. As an avid self tanner who is usually scrubbing the last tan off like a mad woman to put the next one on, I’ve tried everything. Lemon juice, body oils, sugar and salt scrubs. This removed the last of my tan without having to scrub myself raw. It even took it off my exfoliating gloves in the process. I can’t believe I haven’t purchased this before but I’ll never go without it again.

This is a game changer for removing tan. Pros - Quick and easy to apply - Removes tan without vigorous scrubbing - Removes all tan product - Smells pleasant - Reduces wait tan to active the removal - Easy to use - Easy to apply - Easy to remove Cons - It doesn’t remove the tan in the way it shows on the videos - Quite thick application is required - Doesn’t feel the nicest if you have sensory issues - Product is depleted quite rapidly - Once lathered it can take some time to remove This really has changed tan removal for me, it’s a bit lumpy to apply everywhere but once on you only have to wait 60 seconds. It works wonders taking it off in the shower and I would recommend adding a bit of water to your mitt to ensure you get the full effect and remove all tan product with ease. Once the suds are in place it’s then obvious that it’s removing the tan and you needn’t scrub like other tan removers. Although I would still recommend a bit more force than a wipe for those problem areas; knuckles, feet etc. However do not be disillusioned that it will remove your tan in one clean sweep, it won’t. It does practically do that once lathered up on the skin (just doesn’t look quite to impressive as those videos). You also need a fair bit of product for it to work seamlessly. I have tried to use it sparingly but you can notice it doesn’t work in quite the same way or have the full desired effect.

I have used all of Rose & Caramels self tan removers so thought I’d give this a try. This remover was really gentle on my skin and removed my tan within a minute like it says it does. Had no scent which is good for my sensitive skin and felt soft and hydrated after using. Definitely recommend all rose & caramel products.
