Get it! It’s a great flashlight 🔦
This small flashlight is made of nice material. It’s strong with nice weight to it. Brightness is really good for its size. 2 AA batteries included too! Great price for the product. I recommend it. I keep it in my room just in case of an emergency.

Bright and nice when it works
I purchased this to keep in my flight bag. Reliability is obviously very important for a pilot, especially in night operations. This was the second one of these I've purchased, the first from a source outside of Amazon. This unit was intermittently faulty from the beginning. Unscrewing the end cap and back on seemed to help the batteries connect and the light would work as advertised, which by the way was very bright and nice. Shortly thereafter however, no light operation at all. Rinse and repeat. The intermittent failure gradually grew to a 70%-30%, failure to operation mode respectively. Since it was an occasional use tool it's outside of Amazon's replacement window so now it's a paperweight. Because it's another item I've purchased on Amazon that seems to fail in similar ways, I will not purchase again.

Would turn ON only when it wanted after only a few weeks.Maybe it has a corrupted AI built-in.
EDIT : (after having it for about a year now) : This thing started 'working' whenever it wanted to after only a few weeks. As in I thought it was the batteries b/c it wouldn't turn ON at ALL half the time , but that wasn't it. Maybe I got unlucky but I just bought a 3x cheaper ,different LED flashlight that is waaaay better. Take your chances I guess but based on my experience alone , I wouldn't be surprised this has happened to more ppl than just me. Skip it (IMO). Get something cheaper & better. Just b/c it's a known brand , don't guarantee it will work better than some unknown brands. Wish I had warned ppl way earlier.

The best flashlight of all time.
This flashlight, and its baby-sized counterpart, are, without hyperbole, the best flashlights I've ever used. First and foremost, this model is insanely bright. You have to see it to believe it, and since it's so bright, all your neighbors can see it as well. It'll illuminate a football field COMPLETELY (no exaggeration, I have literally done it). There are no animals that can hide from my gaze at night while walking the dogs, and in a pinch, I could help land planes if need be while using it. It doesn't eat through batteries either, being very economical in their use. Some flashlights get scolding hot with prolonged use, but not my boy here. It gets hot, but never unreasonably so. It's super durable. I dropped it a dozen or so feet at work once onto concrete with nothing more than a scratch on its metal exterior shell. The only downside I can say about this flashlight is that carrying it around, as a male, can sometimes garner some humorous glances from the ladies as it is, without question, an impressively sized phallus. All that aside, I have bought four of these models to keep I am so impressed by them.

Malfunctioning led lights
I bought 2 of these led flashlights a few months back.worked fine initially but then went dead. Changed batteries and worked again .now neither will turn on even when new batteries are installed. Totally useless products. Was very happy initially due to the quality construction & strong beam for a compact light. Any customer service representative input would be helpful. NEED TO HEAR BACK FROM THE MANUFACTURER…THIS APPEARS TO BE A GLOBAL PROBLEM/ COMPLAINT!

I've been an energizer Flashlight fan always buying and trying ...
I've been an energizer Flashlight fan always buying and trying their latest offerings. Last night I decided to attempt to focus on a tree approximately 500 feet away. This flashlight (400 lumens) FAILED. Why because Energizer's latest line of quote higher lumens being offered utilizes 3 LED's. Also Energizer is stating that their latest line of Flashlights offers "Digital Focusing". I am not quite sure what this means, and of course their provided literature does not go into much detail. Now the punch line,.. Energizers previous two offerings of 2 AA battery Flashlights, with the highest rated at 185 lumens, use 1 LED and man is it powerful. It lit up that tree and I could target an owl, and any part of the tree with ease. Please note that Amazon only has one "Picture" listing for the "now deleted" and only available from 3rd party vendors, this flashlight is two generations OLD. It was originally available at 125 lumens, then upped to 150, and lastly upped to 185 lumens. All with the same UPC code. The previous generation of this flashlight is mostly offered in "gun-metal" color schemes, and was described with the word "Tactifull", The picture associated with the single AA Flashlight rated at 85 lumens is correct, and yes the picture for the 185 2 AA flashlight does exist however most current sellers, if they have any back stock have been using this listing stating a "gun-metal" finish. Either one of these items existing at 185 lumens will out perform, this current 3-beam multi LED 400 lumens offerings overall. However within a house, or let's say 25-50, maybe 75feet, will overall produce more lighting, thought it is not a dramatic difference from the older single LED 185 lumens 2 AA flashlight offerings. I have and do treasure the single LED 185 lumens Energizer flashlights I have acquired over the years. The price, well when all were in production they were in the $20-$25 range, and have remained there for Energizer 2 AA flashlight offerings. The lesson I have learned is to stay with a single LED flashlight for extended light reach. If you can locate one of the previously mentioned Flashlight from a 3rd party vendor, seriously consider acquiring it, especially if the price is right. For those already on the know all the ones seen on Amazon, both single and double AA "Tactical" flashlights were listed at double the price of the 3 LED offering, and single AA "Tactical" sold just as quickly.

I bought this torch to replace my old energizer torch which I had owned for over 14 years & sadly lost it while travelling. This torch is the new version of the old one. This torch is much brighter, it has 3 settings, high, low & strobe (it says 7 on the pack, but I don't know how they get to that), it has a quality finish, with a nice solid feel, however it is a bit too smooth (slippery) in my opinion; the old torch had a rougher surface on the handle which gave you a much safer grip. I worry about this one slipping from my hand (though it does come with a fairly thin, ordinary, hand strap). My other disappointment is that the on/off button is now on the shaft, rather than on the butt of the shaft, which is where the old torch had its button. I was aware of this when I bought it, but after using this torch a few times I find that I'm really missing having the button on the end. It was much easier to use that way. What this means is that you have to be holding the torch the right way in order to have your finger on the button, if not you have to rotate the torch; further to this, the button is quite small. I wish Energizer had stayed with the button on the end of the shaft. If it had a more grippy handle & the power button on the end I'd give it 5 stars.
