Perfect for an arcade joystick project
I used this when I built my arcade joystick/fightstick setup. Because it's reversible, It worked perfectly for putting a USB Type B port on the front of the joystick so I could use a printer-style coiled cable to connect to my RetroPie machine. The body is made of metal, is highly durable and looks professional. Would definitely buy again.

The most solidly constructed connector I have ever dealt with. This is industrial quality, at a Goodwill price. These with right angle USB cables inside my CNC control boxes, both bulletproof and space saving. Very well done!

Clean looking charging port
I'd give it 5-stars if it was filled-in around the connector (cleaner look and easier to hit in the dark). Otherwise it was a great solution to cleanly put a USB charging jack on the front of my portable recording rig. I have lots of USB-A to USB-B cables about, so that connected me to a standard USB charger inside the rack. I already had another A-to-B adapter like this for the audio interface that is reversed, with the B-A cable on the inside going to the rack unit.

Perfect!
This was exactly what I needed for my car stereo. I no longer have a USB cable dangling from the dash. I just cut a hole in one of the blank panels, inserted this adapter and connected the wire. What a nice, clean look! The seller accidentally shipped the wrong item, though. When I made them aware of their mistake, they immediately sent the correct item and said that I did not need to return the first package. :-)

Works great, no problems.
I installed 7 of these so that I could connect to Arduinos via an outside cabinet rather than plugging directly into each board, and they work great! They are indeed reversible, so I put the "D" style connector on the outside and it worked just fine.

Connector USB Piece is Reversable
I just want to point out that the USB connector is interchangeable - as in you can unscrew two screws in the back and flip this around either direction. As always, Neutrik connectors are top-notch and I'm very happy with the one I'm using.

Easy Installation, good value
These jacks are well constructed and painted nicely. I used these in conjunction with a d-series patch panel for my analog video equipment. It was a fill in i purchased for the one empty hole in my patch panel. I would recommend these to anyone looking for a clean way to mount an extra USB port
