SPOT ON!
It got to the point I needed to,I am to understand why I needed to surrender and how to surrender. This book pointed out many of the mistakes Christian make thinking that they have surrendered to God. It's a very pointed book and I enjoyed it immensely.

Wonderful Truth!
I much prefer the writings of years ago...down to earth and clear teaching from the Word of God...no fluff. Absolute Surrender is so encouraging to our living a life surrendered to God, depending on Him continuously, obeying and enjoying His presence.

Written for the hungry heart
This particular version, with the cover picture of hands, palms up in surrender is the exact version you want. The words and truths are intact, but they have been updated in modern English in a gifted way, under the guidance of the Holy Spirit. The Lord, through Andrew Murray"s efforts, speaks personally to us through the author. I have felt His companionship and love exhorting me to turn fully to His surrender, giving much scriptural reassurance along the way. I wish I knew of other Andrew Murray books that are as well done, in His caring spirit, as this book has presented. Buy this one.

Direct
It talks about humility and being completely surrendering your life to God. It tells details about the surrendering. Once you surrender, He, the creator, is the One who is at work in you. It calms the storm in you, less anxiety, more peace and grace though a little bit repetitive.I recommend this book to anyone who has no way out, God will have a way for you. It is uplifting and encouraging.

Great explanation of our need to abide in Christ and surrender fully to Him to do and direct as He pleases. As a pastor I kept feeling like I had to figure out how to make the church grow, but God reminded me that it is His church to lead and I need to pause long enough to hear His voice to know how to lead the people in being His church. This book reinforces what God has been working in me.

A Spiritual Goldmine
The Father wants you to surrender absolutely to His will and live in complete and total dependence on Him. Are you ready? One of my favorite parts of the book:"The branch has nothing; it just depends on the vine for everything. Every vine you ever see, or every bunch of grapes that comes on your table, let it remind you that the branch is absolutely dependent on the vine. The vine has to do the work, and the branch enjoys the fruit of it. Is that literally true of my Lord Jesus? Must I understand that when I have to work, when I have to preach a sermon, or address a Bible class, or to go out and visit the poor, neglected ones, that all of the responsibility of the work is on Christ? That is exactly what Christ wants you to understand. Christ wants that in all your work, the very foundation should be the simple, blessed consciousness: Christ must care for all. And just so, my Lord Jesus wants me to take that blessed position as a worker, and morning by morning and day by day and hour by hour and step by step, in every work I have to go out to just to abide before Him in the simple utter helplessness of one who knows nothing, and is nothing, and can do nothing. If I am something, then God is not everything; but when I become nothing, God can become all, and the everlasting God in Christ can reveal Himself fully. That is the higher life. We need to become nothing"
