Impressive.
The short version: holds your phone VERY securely, easy to set up, takes all of 1 second to place your phone in or take it out. Now for the long version, if you're interested...I've been trying to find a way to mount my phone rather than an older Garmin to my bike. This plastic piece fit the mountings the previous owner had on there (I think it was an SW-Motech item?) perfectly, with the exception of only being able to mount it in portrait. This is NOT a fault of this item, just to be clear, if I were to invest in a ball-and-arm RAM product I would be able to mount my phone at any angle. This is 100% the fault of the particular base I am using, which I do not believe is a RAM product. On to the holder itself - total setup time was something in the neighborhood of 30 minutes, and the base I'm using was a lot more complicated than the standard RAM bases. I'm sure you could set it up in 15 minutes or less if you already have a RAM ball installed on your bike. The springs are really damned strong. It fits my Samsung Galaxy S5 with an Otterbox Commuter Series with absolutely no trouble at all, and plenty of room to spare. I'm quite certain a Galaxy Note with a bulky protective case would fit just fine, though that might be about the limit. It is VERY secure. I was nervous at first, after all I'm trusting a <$20 hunk of plastic and springs with a >$500 device that I depend on to stay connected for work and social life every single day. My trust was absolutely not misplaced. It took about 1 second to place my phone in it. Wow. On the way out of my neighborhood at about 20MPH I deliberately hit a couple of pot holes I usually avoid. The phone didn't even budge. Damned impressed. Stop for a cup of coffee on my way to work, and it comes out in about 1 second. Again, wow. It's handled a few hundred miles already, speeds from parking lots to highways, bumps hit and bumps dodged, emergency maneuvers made, and all without ever a doubt that the phone was secure. If you wanted to use it for trail riding, you might want to strap a rubber band around it just to be safe, but that might not even be necessary. It vibrates a bit, but again I'm not using a rubber RAM ball, so it might not vibrate as much if you do. It doesn't cover up my camera which is nice, but installed with the camera facing out of the windshield of my V-Strom and the vibration it takes video that looks like I'm riding a submarine. Not shabby for a dash cam, but no good for a motovlogger setup the way I have it. Again, a RAM ball mounting might make all the difference here. For now I'm happy with Google maps navigation being visible and being able to see the caller ID when I hear the phone ring in my helmet bluetooth.

Best phone mount yet.
I ride my motorcycle more than 20k miles a year and this is the 4th mount I've bought in the last several years. Although the previous mounts worked "ok". None of them came close to this one. It's made of good quality materials and the spring appears to be made of stainless so it shouldn't rust. I have a galaxy s5 active and it holds my phone perfectly and the side brackets can be mounted in several different configurations to allow access to buttons. The top and bottom brackets are not adjustable but hook around the phone and one end they are close together and the other end they are far apart. So depending on your phone it rotates to accommodate. If the top or bottom brackets are in the way you can slide the side brackets to either side. Might not be centered but at least functional. I am able to plug in to the headphone jack on the top of my phone and the power jack on the bottom. It will hold phones smaller than mine as well as much larger. I believe it would hold a Note 3. I'll have to try my friends phone to verify. To wrap up, this thing is solid and there is no way my phone will fall out of this holder like it did the last one I had. Also once you set the side brackets the way you want them, because of the spring loaded design the phone is super easy to insert and remove from the mount with one hand. Very well done.Oh and don't forget to buy a ram mount ball adapter for the back as it doesn't come with the mount. I already had 2" round base plate one from previous phone mounts that works with this.

Perfect item for my phone.
Got this for my phone because I wanted it in view while riding my bike. Long trips and bumpy roads and this mount just keeps holding. I even have changed phones recently and just made a couple adjustments and it still works great. Sturdy and functional. Holds my phone without being in the way of access to screen or buttons on the side.

It fits great and I feel comfortable that my phone won’t fall off my motorcycle.
I love Ram products. Quality made and last forever. I got a couple of mounts for my motorcycle and never had an issue.

The model is great, best for iPhone
My item came with a screw not well formed, I could not fix it, imperial thread, so one of the six fingers could not be fixed in position. I had to return the item.

Top quality and easy to fit.
Excellent kit. Beware if using an iPhone 12 mini: the top side fingers interfere with buttons. Moving them up or down doesn’t help.

Vale i soldi spesi
