I've had the 28L version of this for 5 years and it is my favorite bag so I decided to get a larger one too!

Great bag, I love the waterproof and style of it, and has all the storage I need. However, on the first hike, one of the plastic buckles broke.

I just traveled for 5 days off this one backpack and it held everything I needed. I put all my smaller things into soft packing cubes, and put the cubes in the backpack The zippers are perfect, the shoulder straps are strong but very soft, i had Molley pouches hanging off the waist straps to hold things I needed very frequently. I would buy another one of these backpacks in a heartbeat if this one ever got lost or stolen, no regrets! I love it and would recommend it immediately. Since the main compartment is a huge sack, i strongly recommend buying soft packing cubes to keep all your different types of clothing sorted, rolled up, and separate.

Recently used this bag on a 3 day trip into baxter st park and it was awesome, I carried the bag on a snowmobile for over an hour in -10 degree weather in winter mix conditions without the rain fly and everything stayed dry. While carrying the pack hiking it had a great for and feel and adjusted securely. The fabric isn't as nice as some I've the higher end cordura bags but seems rugged enough as it held 54lbs of gear comfortably. At this price point you really can't find a better deal. There's not a lot of compartments in the bag just one main cell but I didn't view this as a problem as the zippered compartment on the top of the bag was perfect for snacks and other small items......definitely worth the money
