Very helpful garden gauntlets
My wife liked the first pair so I got a second pair for when the others need cleaning or drying. No more itching after gardening. I think they protect from sunburn too!

Perfect
The fit is snug… my arms are thin. Love the feel of the fabric and the fit

Great agains thorny vines
Last week, I spent several days clearing out about an acre of forest undergrowth. I went through Blackberries, cat claws, saw greenbrier, and probably other plants that wanted to rip me up. My shirt sleeves were snagged hundreds of times, but very few thorns made it through these sleeves. I am very susepable to poison ivy, without the sleeves on I would get a rash between my shirt sleeves and my gloves. The only down side is that after wearing the sleeves for several hours, my arms itched like crazy for 30 minutes after I took them off. Plus the stiching around the thumb guard is a little to thick. I ended up with cracked welts on both my hands between my thumb and index finger due to the stitches rubing for hours.

Keeps my arms safe from thorns and bugs
A little warm. It’s hot here with lots of humidity. But does the job

Oddly shaped
Reasonably sturdy but awkwardly shaped. Causes painful abrasions on hands. If wearing gloves, place over gloves for less irritation at the cost of protection. Not sure why it’s marketed for gardening. I wouldn’t recommend using them for casual gardening; pointy objects like thorns will go right through them. They’re ideal for preventing scratches and cuts while moving around larger objects.

No Bruises, They Work
I have to wear arm protection to play with my dogs. These work and are more comfortable than the ones I tried that had finger separations without the fingers. I'm not exactly sure who they are supposed to fit however. The elastic at the hand is enough for me to be able to keep them over my knuckles. The top elastic is almost too snug. The arm itself is loose but still protects. The whole sleeve stays in place. I have very small arms and hands, I am thin. I have no idea what they would be like on someone with huge muscles. I am however very grateful they work.

Good
It seems great. Fits and has enough stretch that it would likely fit many sized arms I have thin skin and on a blood thinner. I train rescue dogs and some like to jump and therefore scratch. I also bush hog and dodge tree limbs which sometimes hit my arms. I have not had occasion yet to try with a jumping dog or a scratching tree limb so I do not know if they would do the job but I suspect that they would. Thus, only four stars. Well satisfied so far and wish I had thought of this a long time ago.

I like them
Honestly I'm using these for self protection from either the road, or someone with a knife while out on my bike. As a brown belt I see films where people try to defend themselves and get their arms carved up. I'm betting these will give me the time to counter attack against a knife wielding opponent if I encounter one.
