Excellent for everyday Carry
Extremely lightweight but it has just enough girth to remind you that it's in your pocket. Easy to draw with your little finger, then quick release with your index finger and the contoured grip works for holding the blade at either end of your hand, either as a cutting tool or for defensive purposes.I have a knife with me every hour I'm awake and most of the ones I'm asleep, from boxes and letters to random shop needs so I am very particular with my blades. This is my first experience with a bird beak style but it's surprisingly practical and holds an excellent edge (and mine is used from paper and packing tape to piercing thin aluminum and cutting fabric and rope).I thought it was strange when so many reviews indicated they would be purchasing a second one as a backup but after the first few days I'm probably going to do the same.

My favorites knife I have ever bought.
I have always loved Karambits. I have a few different styles but all the fixed blades are a pain to carry comfortably. This is the first folding Karambit I really liked that wasn't cheap feeling and trashy material. I have some really expensive pocket knives, I mean like 300-400$ ones and I like this as my daily carry more than those. Primarily because for normal cutting instances, this is sufficient, and if I break, I would not be pissed like I would with one of my expensive knives. So far, I have only sharpened this once and used it as an EDC for boxes and everything else. The curve on the blade makes drawing the knife towards you with a cut slightly 'pull' the object towards you that you are cutting. It seems to help it not get away from you like a straight blade does.I have thought about buying a handful of these given the price and just have them around. It always seems when I find something like this I really like, it goes out of production. I would be very sad if that happened with this knife. I primarily buy Zero Tolerance knives (the higher quality sister company to Kershaw) but Kershaw is still a solid step up from the normal junk you find at a gas station checkout or county fair kind of knife shop.I would recommend this without hesitation. It is comfortable to use in either position of grip with the karambit, the clip and the finger ring make drawing it out of a pocket easy, and the dark color makes it discrete. The only thing I might say I don't care for is it is slightly difficult to manipulate from pocket to deployed firmly in hand with one hand, so I wouldn't count on this as a defensive weapon unless you had a second to deploy it hands-free.

Fantastic karambit
Accidentally poked myself few times. It leaves gnarly cut. In a way, that is the best testament that this karambit is good. Take out the thumb knob and put a ziptie on it like what people do with some Spyderco. It will let you drag the tip of ziptie to the fabric of your pocket to work as emerson wave.

Nice compact & great edge
Only negative is deployment, a single catch would help that tremendously then they could put fox out of business. Fox is just way too expensive for what it is.

Sturdy and SHARP
I'm very happy with this knife. It's not overly cumbersome so pocket carry is nice. It's very sharp and cut through cardboard, which I used for a tester, far better than other knives I've bought for around this price range. The grip feels comfortable and I can do flips with it easily (I don't recommend doing that unless you use a trainer first). It opens with authority and the flipper tab requires a reasonable amount of force to deploy the blade which I prefer as I don't usually buy springs assisted knives for their hair triggers, and how they sprung open when I've bent down or fell before. This is much more sturdy and will stay put till you want it open. Highly recommend👍

Fantastic knife
I love Kershaw knives. I have several of them but this one is my favorite. Great self-defense tool.

Very nice assisted open Karambit
This Kershaw Karambit excesses all my expectations. This type of knife is more for self defense than an attack weapon so quick deployment is a must and the assisted open fulfills that. It is slim and lightweight and stone washed dark color - a good candidate for conceal and surprise deployment. The blade size is just about right and it is hair shaving sharp. The blade metal is good but not premium but that’s okay because this is a knife for self defense rather than an utility knife and I am not going to cut anything with it. The handle material is a little slippery and the texture on it doesn’t help much however with finger in the ring the knife isn’t going to drop out of your hand. Once you press the flipper to open the knife you will be holding the knife in forward position and it is a bit more hand and finger movement to change to reverse grip. Overall for a little over $40 this is a wonderful assisted open Karambit: it is sharp, quick and feel good in the hand.

great knife for electrical work.
I recently had to do A LOT of S.O. cord ceiling drops and put plug ends on them. this sharp curved blade made it easier than a razor to strip s.o. unfortunately I accidently snapped the tip off. I need to get a replacement blade now.
