Jackson Safety 18629 V90 Goggle and Faceshield, Standard, Clear with Blue Tint

My husband is a police officer and constantly works with the public. A couple of years ago a women tried to spit on him but missed. With this virus spreading the way it is, all I could think about was that women. This mask is perfect! It covers past the chin and fits his n95 respirator nicely. There are no holes anywhere on the front of the mask. The goggles have a nice comfortable lining for your face, it's like a softer rubber. It's held by a thick sturdy rubber band. The hard plastic and rubberband make cleaning easy and it dries quickly. The rubberband is adjustable. Do not hesitate to buy this faceshield if your a man or woman. Ladies this mask will offer extra protection as we work or even shop for necessities in public. The price is right for what you get. My husband says it's not heavy at all but still offers full protection. I can't thank this seller enough for offering this product at a fair price..about $40 **My husband reccomends you let the mask air out after disinfecting to let all the chemical fumes out of the goggles. ** Last but not least .. being a police family we love the blue tint. First issue I encountered was the area that rests against the nose isn't cushioned (white arrow 1st pic), as it appears. Tightening mask so it would stay on produced pain on the bridge of the nose. Not something I could wear for more than a minute. The plastic is fairly rigid and inflexible making it uncomfortable to wear. Needs cushioning around the eyes. Looks like it's cushioned but the parts of the lower half of eye piece that come in contact with facial bones it isn't cushioned enough. Tightening it for a fit those points, like the nose, hurt.If you are considering this mask for virus protection (which it isn't designed for) .... pic #2 the arrows point to vent holes in top of front of mask. Defeats any virus protection for the eyes. Pic #1, yellow arrows, openings on either side that appear to be for glasses I couldn't get to seal around face. Tightening the rubber headband made for one quick headache.This mask appears to have been designed as a kid's toy. Not worth the price. I didn't test the impact resistance as I returned the item for a refund. The mfg should show some kind of independent testing by a legit lab to support the safety claims.

I don't feel that it's practical to be wearing these if I'm running into somewhere very quickly or I know it's not a crowded space, but when I do my weekly grocery shopping, these make me feel a lot safer when out in public. Started reading up on how the coronavirus can be contracted through the eyes even if you are wearing a face mask covering your nose and mouth. The strap is easy to adjust, the quality is great, a face mask still fits underneath comfortably, and they're easy to clean. Totally breathable and I haven't had any trouble with the goggles fogging up, but I live somewhere with relatively little humidity. My boyfriend won't wear the one I ordered him, but to each his own! I will still be keeping it as a backup. I have been working from home and attending online classes, but if we go back in the fall, I'm not going to have much of a choice other than to suit up and protect myself. I have underlying health conditions and won't be able to afford being out of work. You can't put a price on peace of mind.

I rcvd mine today, this is great since zi work in a hospital. I can wipe it down with bleach or lysol and reuse along with mask I will be using...this is a great alternative...

Fit both large (hubby's) and small heads (mine). Used them in both ED and ICU for patients on isolation precautions. Did not feel heavy at all, glasses worn underneath without issues, did not fog up, and don/doff was easy. N95 fits well underneath. Does not constrain movements at all. Better than any face shields we've worn. Easy to clean by washing with soap and water or bleach wipes. If using bleach wipes, you have to wash the bleach streaks off with tap water and paper towel dry. I keep mine in a large plastic container between wearing. I'm not surprised they sold out. I feel bad for my colleagues that can't find any more anywhere. Hope the manufacturers make many more!

At work we fill portable oxygen tanks as part of our job in a nursing home. Our state decided that we need to wear this big mask, MIG welding gloves, and a welding apron. We are also supposed to share with everybody that works there. There is no way I'm going to put this mask on that everybody else has used, so I bought my own. The price was right, and it's exactly what we bought as a company. I think it's totally ridiculous since we've been doing it for decades with no protective equipment, but at least now I have my own.

Bought this before there was a run on protective gear and it is a great finishing touch to the mask and gloves. I'm in the plus 60 with pre-existing condition group so my survival chances are heavily loaded on not getting the virus, and this seems to tighten up my overall gear profile.

This is an excellent mask if you are needing something to protect your face chainsawing or weed eating. It definitely beats wearing a full face motorcycle helmet which is what it replaced for us. If safety would not be compromised, it could use more air holes to make it cooler. It would also be nice if there were a way to flip it up so you don’t have to take it all the way off when you are between tasks.

This visor is great for work as it will protect me from a sneeze or cough. It is not perfect as it has perforations around the goggles but I suppose that is to prevent fogging. It will definitely do the trick for droplet precautions but not for airborne. It is very comfortable over my glasses. The shield is blue and see through. It is washable. Seems very well made.

Excelente. Es la segunda que pido, mi papá trabaja en un hospital en el área de COVID y le parece muy eficiente. Seguiré comprando más.

Crei que se podia levantar la careta y solo se puede separar, creo que me confundi y es otro modelo, pero me gusto.
