Cuts through carrots like butter
I am always somewhat suspect about knives claiming to be from Japan, but this knife lives up to it's reputation. SUPER sharp, great handle (very comfortable). It is not a heavy knife, if that's what you are looking for, but for us it's near perfect. Maybe over time I can get a set
