Works great
I had bought two other HP pens (HP Active Pen and then the HP Rechargeable MPP 2.0 Tilt Pen) but I could not get either to work. The MPP 2.0 may have been defective as it never appeared to have a full charge. This pen, the HP MPP 1.51, after I put the AAAA battery in it, worked straight out of the box - no pairing necessary.

I don't know why anyone would be disappointed... Works Great
Works great on my HP Envy 360.Put the battery in, touched the screen and it worked immediately.I opened paint to test some of the features and it worked flawlessly.Pressure points, buttons, variable line sizes, all good!I use it to markup pdf type construction drawings on construction sites.Fits my needs perfectly. I'm no digital artist, good for us mortals. Simple lines and much more.

Genial para ajustes pequeños
Lo bueno: llevo mas de un año con el y aún no se le acaba la bateria con la que vino, lo he usado para acelerar detalles en la edición de imagenes

I'm disappointed.
My ratings and review: 1 out of 5 stars :) 1 being worst and 5 being great.first sight thoughts- I was super excited.Ease of use- 0weight- 4 pretty lightweighteasy to operate-0 not for mefinal thoughts-So, I've wanted a pen for a while now. I was super excited to get it in the mail but when I started to try to use it...nothing happened. I looked at the paper that came with it and it is seriously no help whatsoever. After trying for 20 minutes to see if updating drivers would help and seeing if it was just my user error, sadly it isn't. I'm so disappointed because the description on the page says nothing about models of compatibility...that's why I ordered it because I have an HP laptop. Just it needs to be hp and Microsoft and I have both of those; however, it very much didn't work. After searching the web for half an hour I found out that my hp is not compatible with the pen. I didn't even get this information from the HP site, I had to find it on some random tech site. It would be nice to let the customers know if the pen is compatible or not before they order something just to have to return it.

Poor quality
The pen tip is plastic, so every time you touch the screen to write it sounds hard on the screen and loud. It does not come with a replacement tip either. The pen tip is not accurate, so handwriting looks pretty bad. My Pavilion x360 has a difficult time sensing the pen tip, so the screen moves based on my hand placement half the time, not the pen.A friend has a Dell Pen, which works MUCH better on my HP.I would spend more money on a different pen.*Update* When using the pen and Pavilion in tablet form, the PDF file or book will randomly jump to the end of the chapter. Only happens when using the pen, can't explain how/why. Even happens when I wear a long-sleeve shirt to avoid my wrist touching the screen. The screen is not sensing the pen touch all the time, so when I try to change between highlight or pen-writing it sometimes doesn't sense the touch, so I have to repeat the motion a couple of times. Pretty darn frustrating.Would not recommend the HP pen or their Pavilion x360 computer (battery life is now apx 3.5 hours, less than a year old).A friend has a Dell Surface and Dell pen. They work really well.

Wonderful, low cost stylus pen for HP Envy Laptops!
This HP pen is fantastic. It allows you to write and delete text without having to fumble around your applications.Good battery life (powered by a AAAA battery) and comfortable to write with. Super pleased with this!
