Great rings.
Placed on a Camo Whisper Cat breakbarrel. Bought this specifically for the stop pin and it worked wonderfully. Scope holds position and doesn't slide back from spring recoil.

Superb mounts for a .22LR!
I recently got to rebuild my father's old Marlin Model 60 that he had when he was a kid. Most of the internals got replaced and a Boyd's stock installed. I wanted to put a better scope than the replacement irons - it's an accurate rifle. So I ordered a Bushnell Dawn & Dusk for .22 and then had to find a good mount. Enter the Modkin rings. Not only were they machined well (or cast, not sure how they're made) but they're not too heavy, and they're a great price for a plinking setup. They mounted very well. I've gotten loose-mounting rings before, these are solid. You remove the top of the rings with an Allen key that is provided, install the first ring loosely, place the second and check spacing and eye relief for where the scope will sit, then use the stop screw in the base of the second to ensure that the scope is held down by the dovetail bracket and the stop screw. Apply torque, install scope, and then the tops of the rings. It was super easy and rock solid. It should be noted that the Allen screws they send with the rings are cheap feeling, of course, and I was worried on two of them that I would strip them out just installing the scope. It didn't happen, but be aware that they may need to be replaced - easy enough to do. YMMV. I also admit to stress testing these before putting them on the rifle - my father intends to teach my daughters how to shoot with this .22, so they have to be tough in case of an accidental drop or other unforeseen nonsense. So I mounted them on a dovetail-sized piece of metal mounted to a stock blank. I dropped them, threw them, and otherwise mildly abused them. Besides some cosmetic damage in the form of a few scratches, they didn't break loose or damage the dovetail mounting. Excellent. For $13 I can't complain about these rings past the Allen screws. I will update the review should anything happen with them, but as of now I am quite pleased with my purchase.

These mounts worked for a 50mm diameter Scope
When mounting a scope, I, as an amateur, did not realize that one size fits all properly. For the Scope I was planning to mount ( 6x24 50 AOE ), I needed clearance between the scope and barrel; "medium" mounts did not provide the clearance. The large Dove Tail mounts worked great with an old .22 rifle. No additional prep work was required; they were milled as a pair and the scope settled perfectly "inline" within the mounts. Be careful not to tighten them too tight; there is a possibility ( I am told ) to damage the scope. Very pleased for the price.

If You Have Scope With 50mm and A/O, You Need Tall Rings
Needed some tall, 1" airgun rings and these fit the bill for my CenterPoint 6-20x50(with A/O) scope perfectly. The A/O with scope installed left 1/8 to 3/16" between it and the action of my Hatsan 95 springer to even use scope dust covers. Didn't need to use the "stop screw" on the one ring as my Hatsan uses a factory-made rear scope stop that works, but if you have a rifle that has a drilled hole in the receiver, the ring stop is something you definitely need to keep the scope from sliding around the rail's slot from springer or ram-air rifles that have a lot of energy. Once everything installed and scope adjusted fore/aft, it gave a nice gentle cheek weld and great sight picture. I think I'll be pleased when rain stops to go and shoot some targets to get scope sighted. UPDATE: Weather cleared and wind calmed down after a few days, so out to back yard I went to zero in scope and test the scope mount. The mounts worked very well up to a point. I would suggest, that once you get your scope where you want, then removing one screw at a time, clean off any oil, use just a drop of "blue" Loctite on the end of all screws. You want the extra benefit of knowing that those scope screws don't loosen up at a time when you need and want that accuracy and think the scope has gone bad, when it was just loose rail mount screws or scope ring screws that started backing out from the harsh recoil, even though the rings were torqued down, from my experience of using scopes and rings for over 50yrs.

As advertised, easy to install, work well

Nicely made and machined. I installed it on my old cooey .22 and it fits perfectly with just enough clearance for the bolt action.
