Absolutely worth every penny
For the price you can't best this toy. The drifting is fun for any age. I purchased 3 different models and all 3 work great. The batteries charge fast and last long. The extra rubber tires and cones are a nice bonus. The setup is easy and drifting is easy to learn. I would give 10 stars out of 5 if I could. Even if they break tomorrow we already got our money's worth for several hours of play the first day. Care and thought were put into the design packaging and the presentation. I will buy more for gifts first opportunity.

Tested it, impressed- bought ANOTHER for myself
This is kind of a perfect remote control toy. It’s cheap, it works, and it has all the fundamental aspects of a REAL pro-adult quality car that cost much more. It’s a great training tool for a younger kid. I think it’s MORE fun because you can race it in the house on a rainy or snowy day. It’s quick but not TOO fast for the kitchen. It’s also light enough to bounce off the chair legs instead of actually crashing and breaking. My obnoxious kitten is afraid but curious, so when she gets restless I’m gonna drag a toy or feather behind it. It’s 4wd and can go over area rugs or doormats, but may get hung up on thick carpet transitions. This doesn’t have suspension, so no jumps. Comes with 2 batteries and only requires 1, so you charge both and rotate to keep the fun going. They do take awhile to charge via usb phone charger, but a slow charge is safer and helps the batteries last longer. My only complaint is that the battery connection is confusing for children and women(lol). Figure it out, then mark the tops with silver or bright paint pen or nail polish(which is really tough). My only concern, which is a benefit, is that everything on the battery compartments is held down with a tiny screw that requires a size0 Phillips is JIS+ cross screw. I have few extra, so my nephews are each getting a screwdriver, but most people don’t have THAT size around. They’re tiny screwdrivers for watches and car remotes. It does prevent the compartments from popping open. You can also buy 2” bits from the hardware store and just wrap them in tape- hockey tape works awesome. Buy 2 or 3. You won’t regret it.

Takes a little more experience to drift
The controller doesn't have proportional steering. The size is compact, yet, not too small. It has extra wheels which your child can change out depending upon purpose. The screws were tiny and hard to get out. It didn't come with a compatible screwdriver. Sometimes RC cars will come with mini screw drivers to help unscrew battery door covers, wheels, etc. Overall, it's a fun little car to start kids off with before you choose a more expensive RC. Batteries lasts a decent amount of time, they're not exceptionally heavy on drain.

Shocked by quality
Absolutely amazing car. I was honestly shocked by the quality of the product for the price. Really fun and can't stop waiting for the next battery. The little headlights working was the cherry on top. 10 out of 10 recommend. Going to buy one for my brother.

A toy car with testosterone! This ain't your Dad's duracell 1.5 v C battery '70's toy!
since halftime shows are so boring anyway. The "drift" par se' is resulted from the default load out tires being plastic(slicks) but these are not true slicks. What can you expect for the price of this toy. You also get some rubber treadled ones likely the equiv of real car "all season" tires. And by the tread looks much the same as a road tire on a real car! In real life cars the true drift occurs when the rear wheels are locked(coaster brake) via use of a hand brake. In this case, it is all wheel drive and all wheel brakes. But the actual wheels have no tires at all, just plastic! You are riding on rims! If you wished you could use an old vacuum belt and guerilla glue a segment of it on each bare plastic rim for true "slicks" like the drag racers use in real life. (just don't use Mom's NEW belts or she'll take on to you!-the one around her waistline! ;) ***The manufacturer states not to modify the car in any way! I recommend most of you should be heeding as such!*** some reviewer stated he removed the FWD drive shaft. In effect, the factory configures the power of the car's motor and transmission as with the battery being designed specifically for a 4WD car! Not a 2WD. The toymakers (RC or otherwise) are engineers that know specifically about theses sorts of RC electrical toys using DC motors and Lithium batteries! The disablement of the front drive does not improve the speed of the motor or car and could(potentially) overdrive it(rev it up causing advanced premature wear in the future). The steering of the car is controlled by a rather large DC motor(standard DC used in toys since I was a kid back in the 1970s/80s!) This DC is configures as a non-linear servo(I assume) the drive motor is inside a huge gearbox on the rear end of the car. A linear directional motor(forward/reverse) controlled by your receiver/transmitter signals.-I assume more powerful as the car is pretty fast and has good torque from 0-8Kpm in about 3-5 seconds.-that is (by visual) equiv to a real car going about 88-90 MPH as in the Delorean in Back to the Future 88MPH some serious bantha waste increment. regardless if you are a child of 10 or a single adult who just likes to mess around in his free time you will find it an amusing toy! I RC'd it for about 30 minutes out on my back porch over some pretty rough and uneven bricks(PATIO) runs great. I thought it a sales pitch, but seems they're right! the car is powerful and it is fast. I only wish they had a "K.I.T.T." Knight Rider and a Back to the Future Delorean! body option for sale! Awesome car!

Fun little drift car
I generally run bigger arrma trucks. But was looking for something for them rainy days. Or even a day where I am feeling kinda lazy and want to rc. This is exactly what I needed. Drifts pretty good right in the comfort of my living room, garage, etc. I had to immediately order 2 more for my boys. It seems pretty tough as well. I wrecked it into walls, exercise bike etc. We are looking to get into more of the drifting side of rc ing as well so this helps on that as well. As opposed to buying like a 700 armma felony and trying to learn.

Good for kids
Fun for young kid to learn. Easy to drive. You have to unscrew the wheels with a fillips head to change from dirt wheel to drift wheels

Poor quality
Complete junk, didn't even last the charge that came from the factory. Wiring broke internally. Avoid this car. Spend a little more, get something better.

Bueno Bonito y Barato. Las pilas duran mas de media hora cada una. Y para jugar sobre piso de duela o cerámica es una excelente opción. Haces drift y derrapes circulares sin dificultad. Se controla muy bien y trae juego de llantas para correr normal y muy bien.
