I use the laundry pods and the oxygen bleach in every load using cold water. The clothes come out clean, linens and dog beds/blankets also. And I feel better knowing the products are environmentally friendly.

As first-time customers, we were disappointed to discover that half of the pods had spilled into the packaging and that most of the remaining pods appeared to have leaks. When we pick them up to inspect, they immediately start leaking washing powder. To determine if this was an isolated incident, I looked at other reviews and was shocked to find that most of the 2025 reviewers reported similar issues. I should have checked those first. I'm unsure if other customers received any satisfaction from the manufacturer, whether through refunds or replacements, but I'm hesitant to order this product again. I'll wait to see if anything changes due to this review.

Update: tried both the lavender and the eucalyptus scents. Neither scent lingers for very long at all. On one occasion, I did receive a shipment with broken pods, but that didn't bother me much. It seems when I order only detergent and nothing else from Amazon, the product ships straight from the factory and is fresh and in good shape. Otherwise, it might come from a warehouse somewhere and be older, hence the dried out pods? Who knows.***Overall, I am very happy with the performance of this laundry detergent.The pods arrived, shipped directly from Aspen Clean, in great condition. They were intact; nothing was broken.I used one pod per load in my compact front loading washing machine and added vinegar instead of softener. There was no residue from detergent powder when the cycle was through. The pods seemed to have dissolved completely.I bought the unscented variety. The laundry smells great: like NOTHING at all! Even cotton t-shirts that usually have some sort of musty smell after being laundered smelled like NOTHING. I had that problem for years with some Lands' End shirts: I would wash them, and they'd smell really weird, even though they hadn't been particularly soiled. That smell is finally gone, thank goodness.I have tried other "green" detergents before (liquid ones), but they typically would leave my clothes smelling "musty" and unpleasant. Aspen leaves them smelling clean, without scent.If you have problem stains like tomato sauce or marker, you will still want to pre-treat them. I use a plant based stain remover spray from my regional grocery store chain. Even so, a shadow of the tomato sauce remained on the item. Maybe soaking might do the trick.The laundry even seems to dry faster, if that's possible. I line dry, and the first load already started to feel dry when I was finished with the fourth load.I will definitely reorder this product and am happy with its performance.

So sad these didn’t work out. Pods are so convenient and add that they’re EWG verified and I was hooked. The first several months were great. Around winter time, I started getting containers with several open pods and loose powder everywhere. It’s been an annoying mess. I’m switching. Sad to go but this needs to be fixed.

Second time receiving a package with damaged and empty laundry detergent pods. Tried to return but was told this item isn’t eligible for returns. Spent 30 minutes trying to find a way to get reimbursed. Canceling my subscription. Too bad as I otherwise liked this product.

Happy to find a clean detergent. Over half the pods arrived burst open which isn’t really a problem because we can just scoop the powder out but don’t understand why they don’t just skip the pods. 1 pod didn’t work well on makeup stained shirt. Had to wash with multiple pods for more effective result

This product is AMAZING! The first time I used it, I was hooked! My clothes were brighter and stains were gone! The unscented truly is unscented. Some of the pods were damaged during shipping, but I will use the powder anyway. Fantastic customer service too! I gave a pod to my daughter and she has since switched to Aspen. My family has had no reactions and I certainly feel better knowing we are not sitting in cancer causing chemicals! Price is great for the amount of pods so I definitely will purchase this again!

I love pods and these are great because they are environmentally responsible. My clothes are clean and it does not irritate my skin. I must admit that I am older and live alone so I don't require any heavy duty washing on a regular basis. But, the few stains I have had have been completely removed.
