Camera quality is poor and constant audio dropouts requiring application disconnect reconnect to resolve.

Does a good job, very clear audio and video.

The image quality was shockingly poor when using this as a small office camera. When zoomed in, so you could see my face from 8ft away, there was a lot of blurriness and pixelation. Also the camera was at max zoom (4x) to frame myself well enough for video conferencing. So it won't work for any small office. You need to be within about 4ft. from camera to get a somewhat decent image. Even then it's only as good as your basic $100 webcam. Note: I did attempt all a variety of different cables and connections to see if the image would improve. It didn't. Sound Quality: Mixed feelings. The audio fencing is one of the coolest features of any web/conf. camera. Gold Star. But the sound quality is poor overall. Huge disappointment given Poly's legacy in the space. I expect better. I wound up using the mic from my Macbook Pro instead which made the feature unusable. When you combine the Sound Quality issues with average webcam image quality... it's a no-go for me.

There was an initial defect that the camera did not appear on the purchased product. As a result of contacting Poly, they said that in the case of an initial defect, the dealer will need to replace it. The following is an excerpt of the e-mail "Regarding the initial defect response, we have confirmed it internally. The Amazon retailer will replace it, not us. Please contact your Amazon retailer."
