AKK BS2 5.8G 40CH 25mW VTX 600TVL 1/3 Cmos AIO FPV Camera for FPV Drone Like Tiny Whoop Blade Inductrix etc

I wanted to get some in-flight footage of my iNav flying wing without spending much and took a chance on this incredible deal. I was able to cut the inter-board connection that carried the video and wire it into iNav to add the OSD (there's no OSD built in to the camera, which is perfect). The color outside is very good, none of that blue cast you see in many other cameras that cost 2-3x as much. The range even with the dipole antenna is good, although I have never strayed further than 150m from my launch spot. Because it is a dipole, you will get breakups in reception as you get past 40-50 degrees of roll at that distance but I prefer the dipole because it is almost impossible to break. Power consumption is right on, 280mA at 3.5V so even a tiny 1S battery will give you an hour of transmit time. The device does get pretty warm though, 65C-70C if left running sitting on the desk so make sure it gets some airflow. The picture lacks the sharp details of HD video we're all used to, but it is way better than most webcams of similar resolution. Contrast holds up well too, even pointing into the sun.I found it to be very durable as well. I had to bend the antenna every time I opened and closed my access hatch and it never showed any signs of coming apart at the solder joint across a hundred bends. I also smashed the camera into the ground at 40-50kph dozens of times with no problems, but it did eventually succumb to the damage when I lawn-darted it into concrete at 60kph and shattered it (and half the aircraft) into a dozen pieces.

This is inexpensive and low picture quality but that's exactly what I wanted to experiment with. It is working great even though I am abusing the crap out of it.

Akk is good in my book for little drones like the hoverbot. runs pretty hot at idle. Camera is ok quality overall. Camera is great quality for 13 bucks. I use it in conjunction HD3's, furious True-d, Menace Bandicoot and periscope antenna's and I get good quality and range.

This cam was great! Good price, easy to use, video quality was good for the price... I rated a 1 star because the camera got very hot, very fast. The camera burnt itself out on first day. Recommend external mount with good air flow to keep cam cool.

I adore these cameras. They are perfect for whoop, fixed wing, car/truck and boat builds where OSD isn't that important or possible. As many know this can be modified to display odd but I haven't tried it or have the desire cause AKK makes a great micro vtx w/smart audio at a crazy low price. Keep voltage above 3.4v for best results. I use a tiny 5v bus and a capacitor to help maintain a constant voltage so I can make it home when using 1s where some would have very bad video at low voltage

It’s meh. Extremely over exposed but has relatively good detail. In natural daylight it looks great but in doors a lamp will appear as a giant white spot taking up half the screen.

This has to be the smallest aio camera. It's literally the size of my fingernail.I put it on an e010. It worked good but the tiny battery in the drone couldn't handle the drain. It's not the cameras fault. The drone could lift the weight easily but the battery would lose power. If you're putting it on an e010 you probably need to upgrade your batteries to.

Item was working as intended and was doing a decent job. All of a sudden it turned blank and stopped working. The camera was connected correctly to FC. I have purchased two AKK items and both had some type of defect. I cannot recommend this to anyone looking to pop it on their Tiny whoop
