In Possession Of Purpose
('Everything Everywhere All At Once') The great thing about Joy Wang(Stephanie Hsu) is that she is the same person no matter what role she is in. Joy is mild mannered and tolerant, but she is at constant opposition to her mother's values. The movie 'Everything Everywhere All At Once' displays a Chinese-American laundromat in prism refined concordance and retouched imaginatively with esoteric social quirks.Joy's mother, Evelyn, who is actually a font of ethereal purpose, played by Michelle Yeoh, is at a desk submerged with notes, vouchers, and business is introduced by relatives without schedule. Evelyn's husband Waymond(Ke Guy Quan) is one for apprising Evelyn of both familial and financial matters. Then, when Evelyn argues with her daughter in the public area of the coin laundry mat that she owns, attention must be diverted to eroding ceiling panels.Evelyn is shifted in and out of different versions of herself from separate universes. While Evelyn switches in and out of new conflicts and then, real existential controversies, her cynical daughter is on the end of a timeless thread and she informs her mother that ultimately, meaning is discovered in a spinning, voiding, bagel. Joy is super, super cool, and despite all the adventures in deconstruction, her extreme dispassions may, after all, be soundly upheld by science and its fabrics.Waymond is attentive affection even as a control room director for a distant universe, and speaking of charisma, is a mildly goofy, but choice leader of this band of people who get to know their own selves in this alternative reality continuum that eventually poses Evelyn against evil forces. Jobu Tupaki, the ultimate in leg boot, frilly, modernist villainy, teaches us that the different revelations touched upon may be collected up as all kinds of other characters are attracted to her pull. When Evelyn verse-jumps, she is syphoned through a whirl of memories and the images are clear but quickly pass. It's amazing, but the cardinal excitements of various epochs of human adventure being weaved together are a fleeting gulf; this huge bluff in the distance is a gray energy on a hot beige beach, but the select kindnesses of some random people causes reciprocation to be the most heady of ground-stance removals. 'Everything Everywhere All At Once' was co-directed and co-written by Daniel Kwan and Daniel Scheinert and is a taking off experience.

Brilliant, You just have to try this one.
I read a few of the reviews and everyone, all at once is writing everything you can think of and compare to. Some are word salad if it's a great movie or not so great. Others, say it's too simplistic, while others say they had to watch it several times to get everything out of it. I watched it once and that's all I needed. After watching 3/4 of the whole movie and wondering where I had seen Ke Huy Quan before , and it dawned on me. He was "Shortstack" in Indiana Jones in the Temple of Doom. Wow, all grown up.Michelle Yeoh is brilliant as ever in this roll. I didn't know what to expect going in, however this was a rare treat. I only need to see it once, for this is the type of movie that stays with you for a while.I have to say, this is up there with Cloud Atlas in it's complexity about how everything is inter-connected, but a very very different movie. Try this one out, I was wildly surprised, and I cried at the end, which hasn't happened in a very long time watch anything. Wow is all I have to say, just Wow!

Basis, delivery, and the math of the multiverse.
First note-- this "multiverse" is structured and set using the hypothesis of time constrained binary divergence of perceived physical existence of structures, multi-structures, as well as their interactions, and how that groupage of divergence creates the world in which we live. So far, no real evidence, let alone proof of the multiverse existing, and it is hypothetical, not theoretical. In other words it is an idea being batted around by people who bat around ideas.Second note-- since divergences are binary (such as the "stay the same" versus "alter aspects" being a first choice, and if "alter aspects" was the option taken, then one aspect would stand for "stay the same" and could continue in that track, or it could change one existence aspect to be an example of "alter aspects" changing things-- and as multiple alter aspects change as time flows, and multiple things could sequencially change, even to the point that the "things change" to the point of our perception, rather than the change being too little to notice. In other words, there is a smooth alteration in change, not "jump here" or "jump there" to different assembly of the same elements. The movie did not hold to the hypothesis, but created "timelines" instead of uniform optional changes, so it went straight into the land of fantasy. Even so, the concept of alternate reality would not really create adjacent timelines with radical differences.Basically, four out of five stars for just flopping around instead of the establishment of the altered reality. It is FANTASY, not science fiction, just tantasy, and under the rules of fantasy "anything you can get away with is fair game for the party."The movie had a tremendous amount of comedy-- not always good comedy, but still, even a painful laugh is still a laugh, right. The movie also addressed how the audience would react to the alternate timelines, or that the making encompassing part of it would be offensive to some of the audience. For a hint look at the way the time gap between some actions was established so it was not all in your face at the same time.Personally, I felt it was too long, and rocks that were alive enough to talk and move around just felt out of place, and instead of dramatically different timelines, I would have prefered it "slid along the wave" to allow us to see the how and why the change occurred. I suspect a lot of people will hate it for just being a bad string of jokes that offend them, and I admit I did not like some of the attitudes and behaviors, but the world is for everyone, not just me, so I can accept that behavior even if I do not like it or enjoy it.Four out of five-- and it was just a shade too long and too "strand A" leaps to "strand K" without sliding through strands B-C-D-E-F-G-H-I-J along the way, but it was still interesting and kind of fun..

Good weird movie
This is a very good but weird movie that you have to watch several times to notice all the details that you missed the previous time. The first time we watched it, my husband and I looked at eachother and were like what the hell did we just watch...😆 then we watched it again the next weekend and noticed more stuff that made it make more since and so on. It has a good cast, weird but funny storyline with some seriousness and a decent score. You will definitely remember this movie and for that reason alone it's worth adding it your collection.
