Digitally re-mastered edition of the British Pomp Rock band's 1974 sophomore album. Queen II is the real beginning of Queen as we know it. It's the first time we hear the multi layered overdubs, the harmonies, the varied musical styles (ballads, Folk, Blues, Metal, Pop and Rock, it's all there). It also includes their first hit single 'Seven Seas of Rhye', which led to the first of many iconic performances on Top of the Pops. The band recorded Queen II in just over a month in 1973 ahead of it's release in 1974. The album cover was shot by legendary photographer Mick Rock and inspired by a Marlene Dietrich portrait. The image was later brought to life in the revolutionary 'Bohemian Rhapsody' video. Island.

Queen Still Rocks
I am a huge Queen fan since 1977. Albums, vinyl and now CD's are the best way to keep their music clear and lively. Listening to their music now, makes me feel young again, to remember listening to the LP as if I heard it for the first time. There are still more CD's I need to restore my collection. I want to choreograph a free-style dressage event using one of their songs off the "Jazz" CD. Their music is so alive I can almost see the horse dancing to the song. In a free-style session ,the music brings out the solid beauty of action between horse and rider. All of Queens LP's have greatness of talent. I adore Queen and have been to their concerts in 2017 and 2018, with Adam Lambert, Well Done!

Per me,il migliore loro album.
Potente,ruvido,graffiante;falle sonorità uniche. Questo "racconto in musica" è per me il loro miglior album;ed uno dei più belli della storia in generale (per me e per i miei gusti,ribadisco). Questa rimasterizzazione,cambia un po' le sonorità e i livelli dell'originale;ma comunque nulla che generalmente snaturi l'opera e che,solo chi è cresciuto con l'originale potrà notare. Consigliatissimo a chiunque ami i Queen ed in generale la buona musica.
