Not what I expected
I have changed my review I got a note from the seller to explain the thread I miss read the discription The seller offered a full refund for my error I refusedthis is the old reviewThread has many layers so it was impossible to hand see it, it fell apart after one or two stitchesMaybe I just bought the wrong stuff

Incredibly poor quality
First of all this product, unlike some of their other products is marketed as “thread”, not as “embroidery thread”. When I received it, I realized it was definitely thicker than traditional silk thread, and couldn’t used for the initial project I planned for it. But I decided to keep it because of the variety of colors and because it would be nice to have some silk embroidery thread. However, it turns out that it is terrible for embroidery. The picture below is just after working through an open weave linen fabric two or three stitches. As you can see, it is broken apart and shaggy- the fibers are weak and poor quality.

Overpriced
I like the thread works and disappears into my fabric in appliqué work. It’s a lot of money for the tiny spools.

Thread split very easily and snagged a lot. It was difficult to work with for appliqués.
