Older electronics are interesting but old fashioned
These logic gates on chip are really interesting to hobbyists and traditional electronics and legacy hardware. You don’t find many repairing or building in hands; it’s like keeping a memory of a place keeper

Most ic's are good
Found a couple in this set that were not functioning. But with places like radioshak not open anymore. We'll worth the cost just so I have the required chips on hand.... money well spent....

No anti-static packaging for the 74"HC"XXX components
High speed CMOS components are notoriously sensitive to static damage. The "HC" ICs we're tossed into the same plastic box as the other ICs without ANY anti-static protection, so they're basically useless before you even open the box. What were these people thinking? Plastic boxes and CMOS chips don't go together. No brainer.
