Bulletproof Zinc with Copper Capsules, 60 Count, Minerals and Antioxidant Supplement for Immunity and Mood

Bought this for bone health, but after having blood work done twice, I believe it has lowered my cholesterol. I have tried to eliminate other possible causes for the reduction, but I suspect I was either low in zinc or copper (which I have read do compete with each other). Read about Superoxide Dismutase-- a deficiency can contribute to high cholesterol and bone loss. Of course, that MAY have worked because I was deficient in zinc or copper or it could be for another reason altogether that I have not been smart enough to figure out. Everyone is different and you may not find any benefit to this supplement-- and it may be too much for daily use, depending on your diet. I doubt that it has improved my bone density, though it is possible that my calcium supplementation was interfering with zinc absorption (my bone formula has both calcium and zinc). I take this several times a week between lunch and dinner with a small snack and have not experienced any stomach upset. Note that some water filters will filter out zinc and copper (and newer construction does not have any copper pipes anymore). In addition, most multiple supplements have very low amounts of copper in relationship to zinc.

The packaging is good with bright colors. This is an okay supplement and felt a little energetic but did not really feel a difference. Nothing really excitingoverall, this good for someone who is concerned with zinc and copper levels being low.
