Ceiling Fan with Lights Dimmable LED Reversible Blades Timing with Remote Control, 5 Invisible Blades Semi Flush Mount Low Profile Fan (21.5in, Brown)

I have a simple complaint, but it's a major change/inconvenience from decades of flipping a switch for a ceiling fan to come on. I really need a ceiling fan with an occasional-use light. When you flip the wall switch to turn this fixture on, only the light comes on, never the fan. The fan will only turn on with the remote. So I need to move some air in the room, flip the wall switch, find the remote, turn off light, turn on fan. With the wall switch, the light comes on pretty bright. If you keep the wall switch on, and turn the fixture on and off with the remote, it will remember the last light setting. But not the fan - only the remote works the fan. It is a very nice light. Looks nice, works nice, has nice variety of light settings (most of which I won't need) and 6 fan speeds. I don't want to return it - ill likely look for another fan and move this one elsewhere in the house where it'll be more useful with the way it works. More points to mention - the small remote is the only way to change any setting. I'm concerned it'll be lost, or stop working - then no fan and a 1-setting bright light. And there's concern about the LED light portion of the fan not lasting long. (This fixture is replacing a 35 year old ceiling fan!) It's not infrequent that LED light fixtures don't last more than a few years (my personal experience). I guess if that happens, I'll research adjusting wiring to turn the fan on with the wall switch, or replace the inner workings of the light. For the time being, I'm leaving the wall switch on, and using the remote exclusively, so I get the feature(s) I want from the get-go. Rather an expensive fixture given the shortcomings for my needs, not to mention the possible short lifespan. Hmmm...I might have just convinced myself to return it. :-|

Update: The longer I have this, the more I love it. I have had it through two weather types now (heat and cold) and it has been invaluable for both. The fan has a both cooling and a reverse spin direction to help distribute heat. So when it's cold, it helps heat my room more quickly, saving me heat costs. -It's quiet, especially for the speed and power it generates. -It's efficient and easy to install. -The remote makes it incredibly easy to use from sofa, desk. -Customer Service is incredible! I lost the remote and they replaced it almost immediately. I'm most likely going to replace other ceiling lights with these. ---------------- I needed a fan for my small home office. It just got stuffy in there year round, and hot in the summer. There are different size diameters with this model and the small 16" fan is perfect for this small (10' x 10') room. Mount/installation was about 20 minutes total, and mounts almost flush with ceiling. The fan has a great range from subtle (keep the air moving in the room) to high (cool me off!!). It also has a reverse mode for heat distribution in the winter. I thought that sounded strange but it really works well!!! Light has a dimmer control on the remote, and ranges from very bright to very subtle. I was concerned that the design might make the light too dark but not only bright but an improvement on the warmth of the traditional fixture with incandescent bulbs it replaced. Super happy with this purchase and how easy delivery, installation and use is.

This fan is a wonderful addition to our kitchen overall. Our home was built in the early part of last century, so it's a little tight in the galley style kitchen. With not much room to maneuver, even on the ceiling, we needed to find a light/fan combo that was small and unobtrusive, while being able to move some air from the front room into the kitchen. This one was the right size, and it's nice appearance-wise. The only problem we've encountered is that when we set up the fan to begin with, the remote was very fiddly to pair. We were able to contact the seller and they offered a step by step, slightly different from the manual, and it worked. Huzzah! Fast forward to five months later (now), and the remote just quit working. I changed the batteries, but that did not solve the issue. I had mislaid the manual, and so was trying to re-connect with the seller again - but this proved impossible. So, if you do purchase this fan, I really recommend getting the insurance with it, in case you are not as fortunate as I was this morning. I finally located the manual and followed the setup instructions to re-pair the remote. Voìla! It works again. This is VERY important, because it is not the usual ceiling fan setup with chain switches hanging from it, or controls at the switch. Without the remote, the light will come on at the light switch, but the fan will not operate. So, while I was able to re-pair the remote this time, I (A) have no idea why it stopped working to begin with, (B) was braced for it not to work based on the original setup where it didn't respond the the printed instructions in the manual. I worry about the next time - and since this happened in less than 6 months from installation, I fear that it won't be the last time. I wish I'd purchased the insurance for it, but I do want to disclose that Amazon did offer to refund it if we returned the item - but that would not be easy to do since we would have to install it, and then eat in the dark while we waited to get a new one installed. Other than the remote de-coupling, we've had no complaints with it. I think it looks nice, and I love the way the fan works - you can reverse it for summer or winter use, too, right from the remote. It's the first time in all the time we've lived here that we feel like the light is actually bright enough in the kitchen, so we love that as well.

These little fans are incredible. The light is very bright. And the fans are small but mighty! We installed one of these in our loft and liked it so much we bought two more for our bathroom. Even on low, these fans kick butt! These are easy to install. Fan comes off of light easily to clean dust off.

Funciona muy bien, lo compré en 2023. A 2 años de la compra, el control remoto ya no funciona, NO SON LAS PILAS. Qué puedo hacer???? Unicamente funciona con el control remoto. Se puede comprar el control remoto por separado? Tengo 2 ventiladores más pero el control de los otros no funciona para éste. AYUDA del vendedor por favor.

Been using in my bedroom for the past 2 months, it has been great for my small room. The lighting options are good and the fan is quite good for how small it is. It is not directly above my bed and I can still feel breeze from it.

El diseño es bonito, pero considera que gasta mucha energía eléctrica, tanto la lampara, como el ventilador. El ventilador a veces se acelera y se desacelera solo, aumentenado el consumo.
