A handy little gadget
It did the job; it is cheap and simple and small. I would recommend it to anyone with similar requirements to mine.

Works exactly as advertised.
First, I love kits. This was a quick and easy build, and delivers the signals advertised. If it just came with a case, It would merit a 5 star review.

I am satisfied this is a great product and enjoyed building it
I carefully built the signal generator and double checked each solder joint with a 10x loop. After powering it up, it provided the correct waveforms per jumper settings. I am satisfied this is a great product and enjoyed building it.

Not a good Signal Generator.
It's works and is OK for project but the battery life is VERY short. Tight PCB. Can be a challenge for some for a first time kit project. Typical Velleman quality.

Fun, Easy and clear instruction
Easy to solder. The board is not very high quality which is expected for the price. Hooked it up to the oscilloscope and worked great. The amplitude can be adjusted but the frequency is fixed around 1 kHz. I'm going to update this review if I found a way to tweak the circuit to adjust the frequency.

Nice Quick Easy to Build Kit - Scope Confirms All Waves Generate
This was a fun little kit to put together. Actually not sure if it had instructions. It had a schematic and is a small board anyway so I just assembled in a logical manner. The one thing that would have gone easier is if I would have installed the pins earlier, I had to lay them on a pair of pliers to hold them up in the holes for soldering.Still, everything went pretty quickly and the pins went in vertically so I ended up with a nice looking little assembly. Checked it on my scope and all the wave forms function correctly. I thought this would be a good experience to learn more about use of a 555 timer and wave shaping circuits. Now that the kits finished I'll the real use begins as I make measurements and gain a better understanding how it works.

Small and pretty accurate.
Fairly close to a pure sine wave and close on frequency. Excellent addition to my test jig collection for field work.

A Very Basic but Good Function Generator
Hard to beat for the money, a very good basic function generator kit. My kit was short one resistor value (but fortunately I had a replacement), otherwise a 5 star rating. The kit went together well, although I would have chosen a slightly different order of parts placement. After assembly, the kit worked well. I checked all functions on my Tek O'scope. Right on the mark with no distortion. I plan on placing it in a project box and adding output jacks, an on/off switch, etc.
