Beautiful box, loved it

French brooding goth rock. First off... the package is a slice above the usual fare , and we even get a glossy booklet this time. The CDs are the same as the typical clamshell version...if the materials used are of a slightly better quality than usual. Next, the music...all of it. It's great goth...I find " twilight" particularly depressing... which always serves a purpose. The singer sounds exactly like Peter Murphy of Bauhaus fame...who in my opinion did his best work on "mask"...im still a huge fan tho. I've never actually heard this band before and I really like it. The songs are creative and being deeply into Bauhaus, and the album I still want to hear again, "mask", it's just fantastic. Third album " obsession" is playing now , and I love all the samples they did on this one... they have more artistry than most of the second wave of goth bands. Finally, I highly recommend this purchase... the band is deeply emotive and definitely in the top ranking for 1990s goth bands... maybe even number one. ( I AM familiar with all the bands from this era, due to owning all the Cleopatra compilations that feature them ) im a big fan of Rozz Williams...so I can't say I love them more than his work, but they really are very interesting to hear. And at the current prices for this bands CDs... you just can't beat this deal. You can also find this group on Bandcamp.
