These work very well in our bathrooms to keep people from turning on lights at night. It’s just enough light to still see the toilet and sink, but not too bright to not be able to go back to sleep afterwards.

i like that the dimensions of the product are made in such a way that other items can still be plugged into the top outlet. i use this night light to support my carbon monoxide detector. the sensor isn't so sensitive that it needs total darkness either, it will work in moderate darkness as well. lighting is diffuse enough to stare at in the dark without discomfort. the sensor is analogue and has a nice fade on/off as opposed to a sudden switch. hardware is surprisingly sturdy for plastic and doesn't weigh enough to fall out. will buy another 4-pack for other rooms. the light does not travel far so i mostly use them to calculate my position when walking to the fridge at night.

I was looking for a night light that produces red light instead of white or blue light. Red light doesn't suppress melatonin production like blue or white night lights. The natural production of melatonin is very important to our health.These night lights have a sensor to turn on when the room is dark. They are sufficiently bright to navigate floor hazards in the dark. They also only take up space of one electrical outlet so the other outlet is available for other uses.If you are looking for a bright night light that won't disrupt your night vision, these are the night lights for you.

I really like these lights for the bathroom. For the bedroom they are too bright for my taste unless they are out of my line of sight when sleeping. I have a chair in front of the one in my bedroom so that dims the light a little. My son likes the brightness for his room. It's red and that's much better for everyone since blue light messes with your body's ability to prepare for sleep because it blocks a hormone called melatonin that makes you sleepy.

I keep these in my bathrooms for midnight visits. The lights we previously had were bright and glaring. These lights are subtle- enough to see your way around and gentle enough to allow you to fall easily back to sleep.
