With me everywhere
I got this and put it on my key chain and there it stays. I don't use it often, but when I do, it is the best thing for the job at hand. Boxes opened, small things pried, bottles opened - all this is done without having to figure out anything - just use this cool little tool and it gets the job done. Sized perfectly for one handed use, it's easy to deploy when you need it. And because it's not a knife, it isn't sharp enough to cut yourself with a slip. Made of a single piece of what I assume to be steel (certainly is not aluminum or titanium), it is easy to grip and seems very durable. I've had one for years now and haven't had it fail me once. Great product, great price!

Best tool in the world
amazing product! fit’s perfectly on your keys. Great for a little things like opening paint cans, prying things open, and turning screws. but also great for big things as well. I couldn’t get this post out, I was using a variety of tools, a pickax, a shovel, and a T-post puller. none of them worked. pulled out my kershaw and that thing popped right out!!

Perfect upgrade from any cheap-o keychain opener
I've had this on my keys for about a week now. It replaced a Gerber Shard, which has a sharp phillips head driver (pretty much useless anyway) that sticks out on a keychain. That point is super annoying and the bottle opener on the Shard is janky at best too, so when the driver point poked me one too many times while going for my keys I had to get rid of it. I found this from Kershaw instead which is absolutely perfect. Great size, seems durable, bottle opener works great, and the profile is nice and slim on a keychain. I've even used the flathead part once or twice already. I didn't see too many reviews for this which I know a lot of people look for, so I needed to say that this is a 10/10 as far as a keychain tool goes and a lot nicer than any generic opener for a few more bucks. Great addition to my keys, goes with me everywhere.

Compact, handy opener but not perfect
I’ve been using this bottle opener a few times a week for about four months now. It’s extremely slim and minimal, making it super easy to carry in a pocket or on a key ring (fits roughly the size of a house key). Pro: In most cases it opens bottles quickly and cleanly. Con: On one occasion, it actually chipped the top off a bottle when opening it. I’m not sure if that was user error or a design/material limitation. Since then, I haven’t had a repeat issue, but I don’t reach for it as my go-to opener. Pro: Its made out of 3Cr13 steel which is durable and lightweight enough for great for everyday carry. Pro: Its size and form factor are a major plus—it does exactly what it’s supposed to without bulk or the need to carry an extra tool. Con: Because of the one mishap and its simplicity, I find myself looking for another option when available. Overall rating: 4 stars out of 5. For what it is—an ultra-portable pocket/keychain opener—it does the job well. If you’re just looking for something easy to toss in a bag or keep with your keys, this is a solid option. But if you open bottles often in a bar or need something rugged for heavy use, you might consider exploring more premium models.

Perfect for my needs!
Love this! I am a news photographer, and I needed a wide flathead screwdriver to occasionally tighten a piece on my tripod plate. It had to be something I’d always have on me, but could be brought thru security at City Hall, courthouses, airports, etc. Works great on my work keychain, since it’s not much larger than your average key. The bottle opener was an added bonus.

Not the best tool, but it's always there when you need it.
Man, I hate airport security. This keychain never gave me any problems at an airport, which shouldn't be surprising, because I bought it explicitly because I didn't want trouble with airport security. This tool has a distinct lack of sharp ends, which often leaves me wanting something pointy when I've only got dull objects. As a prying tool, I've mostly used it when I want to open something, and I'm compromising by not using something built for cutting things. I just wish I'd gone ahead and bought a small keychain knife, since that's most of what I use this tool for, and I'm not sure the tradeoff was worth not having a knife on my keychain. I haven't used it as a screwdriver, and I'm fortunate that I haven't needed to, because it's probably a horrible screwdriver. For opening packages, it's okay. The screwdriver end makes a horrible cutting tool, but the bottle opener works well enough for punching through tape in an emergency. However, it's completely useless against hard plastic packaging. As a bottle opener, it works fine. However, it has a bit of a learning curve, and it's not so easy to open bottles at first. If I was looking for a pure bottle opener, I'd get something else. The Kershaw doesn't give you a lot of leverage, and the prying seems to bend the bottle caps and lock them into place after bending the edge. See the picture with the blue background to see what I'm talking about. Surprisingly, the cap is still quite secure even though it's seriously bent, since more than 50% of the cap is still attached. You can try to muscle the cap off from there, but it's a ton of effort. You can't really pull any further, since the bottom is about to slip off because the cap is bent, and the end of the bottle opener has started to push down on the cap, which means you aren't actually pulling the cap off by pulling harder. You're just expending more energy to bend the 30% of the cap that's not even connected to the bottle. The solution is quite simple. Just rotate the bottle opener one quarter, and the cap pops off with almost no effort. Once you've figured out that you open it partially, then rotate the opener, it becomes incredibly easy to pop off even the most stubborn caps. I realize this review might come across as a bit negative, but I actually really like my Kershaw. If I lost my keys, I'd probably buy another one. It's never the best tool for the job, but it's light weight, and small enough that I barely notice it on my keychain. For $10, it's worth it to have an emergency tool that's probably good enough when you don't have anything else. It's basically the Swiss Army Knife effect. You're willing to make a lot of sacrifices to be able to fit something in your pocket and carry it anywhere, and that effect is a lot stronger when your tool is only barely bigger than your other keys.

Cool little bottle opener tool.
Was looking for a smaller bottle opener for my keychain. This works for that and provides a couple other little tools that might come in handy some day.

It Won’t Break & More Importantly, It Works!
I love this little thing! I have a key wallet thingy and this fits in perfectly; it’s the thickness of a metal key. It’s strong enough that it hasn’t bent or broken. It is not sharp; I often try to use it as a box opener, but it takes more effort to cut tape than a regular key. It has worked as a flathead screwdriver though (very large screws)! I was missing my bottle opener ever since I transitioned away from my regular key ring, but now I am always ready for an impromptu bottle opening again. 😅
