Very Poor quality stakes
I ordered and received 50 fencing stakes through Amazon on 30 October. Today I opened the packages to put the stakes in but was disappointed to see that 37 of them are of poor quality. The wood is not smooth, the tops are not levelled, some are covered in fungus as if they have been in wet soil, putting them in the soil is splitting them because of poor quality wood. I have ordered theses before through Amazon from the same company and they were of a lot better quality.

Good value stakes with many uses
I liked the price, quality and having them delivered. I used for young fruit trees to keep them straight and a tall rose bush. I also used for fencing. I used a piece of wood on top to hammer down the stake, no problem as it had been raining so the ground was soft and all the stakes had good points on.

they are good stakes but a little thin for stock fencing.
The stakes are firm, pre-treated and withstand being knocked home with a sledge hammer. Ideal for young trees or light fencing but not subtantial enough for retaining large animals. Life-span will be the test particularly in acidic clay.

Ends damage easily - a little too much moisture making them soft.
Opened the pack and found the stakes to contain quite a lot of moisture still. They do the job to a point but cannot be hammered into even semi-hard ground without the ends becoming damaged and splitting. Expected a bit more for the price.
