Does the module draw current when in the open state? If so, how much current is drawn.

I haven't measured it's current draw when the relay is off, but I could almost bet this only takes a few milliamps. That 8-pin controller chip is not going to draw much energy. The biggest current draw is when the relay coil is turned on - probably 80 or 100 mA for the coil.

Will this switch reset if the dc power is removed?

Yes they revert to default when power is removed

Is this limited to a 30v dc application or can i use this to switch my 12v dc devices? if so, what is the amp rating for a 12v dc device? thanks!
