Saved me from buying a new pool cleaner
The replacement cord was easy to replace and now my pool cleaner is working like brand new. I have had the old cleaner for a few years and use it on a weekly basis. The old cable corroded in the swivel connection and quit working. Very happy I purchsed the replacement cord rather than buying a new cleaner - saved me a lot of money.

Excellent Replacement Part
Maytronics Dolphin DX6 (purchased in 2019) stopped working in Jan '24. The basic power supply was working, but suspected that the cable was no longer waterproof on the swivel (Dolphin was left in the pool overnight during a freeze). Replaced the cable (Dolphin DX6 has a three-pin connector) and everything is working again. Very easy to install with a philips screwdriver and a pair of needle-nose pliers. Important to purchase some non-petroleum O-ring lubricant for installation.

Item sold as "Genuine Maytronics Part" but an unboxed, unverifiable cable was shipped
Official Maytronics replacement cables are sent wrapped in a white cardboard band and include warranty information. The cable I received was placed loose in the shipping box and was missing any of its original packaging/warranty info. Either the item was previously unboxed and returned and sold as new, or is a counterfeit. Also, I compared the cable to the one that originally came with my Dolphin, and this new one was missing some shrink wrap near the spring that probably is designed to keep water out of the cable internals. Needless to say, I did not get what I paid full price for.

Do not leaving in pool water if you want an extended life out the cable
The cable lasted for a season and half (summer pool season) before it started having issues. The pool robot stops working when the cable swiveled in 2nd year of use, I had to swivel the cable in another direction to resume every time it the robot stopped running. The cable becomes sticky and starts peeling off when left it the pool for everyday cleaning. I expected more use out of it for the amount paid

Had a bad cable. This was a direct fit and functions perfectly

Avoid at all costs
Over priced cable . The swivel is a problem water will get in and destroy the contacts . After one year the cable failed . Customer service is non existent Try calling them they have a notice up its very busy . Yes I know why . The master service center address is a secret . They want you to throw the cleaner away and buy a new one . By the time you ship it back the season is over. 8 weeks to fix $70 shipping and stories on here about not getting your machine back but someone else's beat up unit. . Photos of the swivel unit contacts that are not replaceable so they sell you a $200 plus cable thats going to fail again

Cheap rubber turns to sticky goo after a short while.
Our Dolphin Mercury (s300i) failed after one year and the cable would also never swivel. We sent it back for repairs and they replaced the cable. The unit works sort of, short of actually cleaning the walls. The cable swivel on both the old one and the new one simply don't work and the cable has turned sticky. I assume the cable is made in the orient and God know the rubber from there is the lowest grade available. The rubber also turns to goo after a short period of time. I would avoid the product altogether.
