I’m glad I gave it a shot, because it works flawlessly. Right out of the box, it felt solid and well-made. I'm using it with my Surface Laptop 5, and it functions exactly like the original. The magnetic connector snaps on securely with a satisfying click, and the charging speed is identical. The 65W power brick provides plenty of juice to charge the laptop quickly, even while I'm actively using it for work. Honestly, the best feature might be the length. The extra length is a significant improvement over the standard charger, giving me much more flexibility when I'm at an airport or coffee shop where outlets are never conveniently located. The power brick gets slightly warm during charging, but no more than the original ever did. Works great, I initially plan to purchase this charging cable to take on travel for my surface pro, so I can leave the OEM Microsoft charger at home. I really like the extension cord which plugged into the main unit. So this charging cable will serve as a spare charging cable for my surface pro laptop. This item was well packaged, it came in its nondescript brown box and shipped inside an Amazon branded box, for extra protection. It works great, the indicator light, lights up when I plug it into my surface pro, and it works like the OEM charging cable, but at a fraction. Great value. I just hope it last!

Works great and charges my laptop. I can tell it’s not going to last very long because it feels like a cheaper quality charger. I usually have to replace these at least once to twice a year. Good for the price, most likely will keep buying these as affordable replacements.

Looks and feels better than the OEM one! My surface has a weak battery so I keep one of these by my chair in the living room and one in the bedroom and then one on top of my toolbox at work for the price why wouldn’t you have multiple? It keeps me from having to carry a charger around at this price it’s easier just to buy multiple and have them plugged in in the location you use your tablet!
