The bezel is not glass, it is metal.

Q: "Lack of screw in crown?" How do you wind the watch and adjust the time?

Hello, This does not have a screw-down crown. You wind the watch clockwise about 30 times clockwise to power it up. Q: Why the model no. sometime written as ssk003k1 & sometimes as ssk003 ? is there a difference ?

ssk003k1 and ssk003 are the same watch. Seiko USA lists the watch on the website without the K1.
