8CH Wireless Securiy Camera System

The camera system is so much better than the systems I have had in the past. Easy to set up, great picture clarity, and a LOT of options in the programming to be able to tweak the system to my liking. A little after 2 months of use, the system suddenly "lost" the hard drive. I tried reseating the cables to the main board, and it still did not pick it up. I swapped in an old drive I had and the system saw it and formated it with no problem. I contacted the Customer Support folks and explained what had happened, and they had me go through a couple of steps to troubleshoot the issue. After a few days (back and forth over email, with a major time difference to deal with) they agreed that the drive was dead. They sent a link to their preferred drive and had me purchase it through Amazon, and immediately sent me the total price as a refund.

This system replaced my aging wired system that lost all but 2 of its 8 cameras due to connection problems over the years. This system was installed less than a week ago so while I can’t speak of durability I can say it was very easy to set up and the picture quality is great. Night vision is also quite good. Playback features are also very good with up to 8x fast forward speed. Cameras appear to be robustly built and should last quite a while. So far so good!

Decent day time video recording but low light and night time is very poor. The human recognition feature is misleading as it is triggered by anything that moves. Stills shots of faces are distorted and unrecognizable under any light condition.

Both my brothers have this system when I seen how crystal clear the video is I had to have one too. It’s easy to install easy to use I have the wireless and the cameras plug into an outlet. The picture is crystal clear and the sound works great too and if you’re not sure of something or not tech savvy call customer service and a technician will get right back to you and walk you through it. They make it so easy, thank you Nacho for the great service! I highly recommend this system for its great performance and great price.

I’ve owned several camera systems over the years, and unfortunately, this has been the most disappointing. After just one year, the hard drive stopped recording, and now, less than six months later, it has stopped working again. For a product that costs $450, I expected significantly better reliability. I would strongly encourage buyers to do some research and purchase a different brand.

They work, the visual is clear when u set it every time to HD and audio is on point! However, it misses all kinds of events that occur, leaving you to have to manually look back. Also, I constantly get “video loss” alerts, so the wireless signal isn’t very good. The cameras are all within 10-20ft of the box and my router. Miss my old set from night owl, only reason I changed was because I wanted the audio and less wires throughout my house.

I installed the camera incorrectly(used the camera powder for NVR) and constantly run into issue with storage space recognition. Contacted the WhatsApp number on the manual, and was prepared a lengthy and endless forwarding or waiting. To my surprise, I got contacted by them immediately and a real technician (not a bot or online machine) initiated a video call with me to troubleshooting it together for over an hour and solved all my issues. Turned out I used a wrong powder adapter so the amps are not enough to support the storage recording. Now it worked seemingly. I wish all the products that I purchased online have this level of customer service and support. It saves me hours of endless troubleshooting and I bet it resolves customer’s issue much more efficiently. Big kudos to this company!!!

The system was pretty easy to install and the videos look great! The only downside is that the instructions that came with the unit are kinda vague when it came to the initial set up. The instructions did not include the factory default password that is needed in order to set the thing up so I had to spend almost an hour guessing possible passwords. Finally I found that 6 spaces did the trick and then it’s as simple as follow the instructions but if your not a techie don’t get to caught up into the bells and whistles just do the basics and you’ll be fine. Love it!!! Oh yeah I also tried to contact support for help with the password issue but since they’re half way around the world I had to wait until the next day for a response as they do not have 24 hour support I guess.
