Q: How many pages the notebook has?

If I read correctly in the description, it states it has 36 paper pages. If it comes with less, I would recommend returning the item and getting a refund. Seller needs to either correct his/her description or add more pages to the notebook.

Q: What type of material is the book made of? Is it hard, sturdy plastic? Water resistant?

Space age materials!! It will not soak up water. Water will not destroy it but if you get it wet all the ink will be removed. It is a plastic like material. It is flexible and not rigid.

Q: Can you use any pen to write in the notebook?

To add, yes I've accidentally used a regular gel pen and I've found you can use rubbing alcohol, even hand sanitizer, to rub it off. Unfortunately you also end up rubbing off whatever is printed the page, be that lines, dots, etc. You can see it if you look closely, but at least you can still use the page.

Q: What is the safest agent to clean the cloths with without ruining the book afterwards?

Hand washing is the best method for cleaning your microfiber towel. If you do, however, choose to machine wash, make sure to avoid the use of any fabric softeners, as this can damage the notebook pages.
