I purchased these earrings to wear when I'm at home, because my second holes have a tendency to close very quickly. They are easy to put on and comfortable to wear when sleeping. I also like that the backings click into place, so the posts aren't exposed in the back and won't poke you.

I wanted a solid gold pair of starter earrings to have earlobes re-pierced with the click lock backing but there was only gold plated. I chose these steel ones instead as it's hard to find that type of backing for re-piercing that's recommended you wear them at least 4-6 weeks. I missed the fact that this is a 12 pack, not just pair. Wow, a bargain if I should lose a pair or two, I won't be worried. Places that pierce your ears say you must bring your own - great- I'm more than ready to go back with these. Former searches, on & off line didn't carry click lock backing. TY!

They snap closed and stay closed until removed. I wear as earrings

I’ve had pierced ears forever. 5 on one side and 3 in the other. The left cartilage is always closing even after being repierced by me multiple times. I bought these specifically to enlarge the hole and to hopefully prevent them from closing. The problem?? The backs do NOT come off. I already had to have one cut off with wire snips and am going to have to do it 2 more times. They simply will not budge no matter what I do. And one of them is becoming infected. Not a good situation. At all. Disappointed does not cover it.

The post is very thick. I've had pierced ears for over 30 years. I had a little bit of a hard time getting these earrings into my earlobes. My earlobes were very sore the next day. I left the earrings in my earlobes hoping they would adapt. I had to remove the earrings for about 3 days because my earlobes were swollen. Once they returned to feeling normal I gave these earrings one more try. Same result. Swollen and irritated earlobes from the large post size. The return process was easy and much appreciated.
