I bought this as a way to help control my dogs head following an accused attack (she jumped up to say hi, not bite). The function that keeps the mouth closed, helps and as it doesn’t look like a muzzle but acts like one doesn’t breed fear into people. It’s soft and unobtrusive, more comfortable than a basket muzzle (a basket muzzle caused severe distress in my dog) and I have control of my dogs head, preventing her from eating road kill and other gross stuff! The clip is sturdy and can be used with collar and harness if you have a double ended lead- the extra strap could do with being longer so it can be attached to a harness (would be better for those dogs who routinely slip collars, like mine irregardless or how tight they are - shes like a wriggly worm!) I love that it comes in funky colours! My dog isn’t scared of it, we have used one similar before, and she walks great with it and I have no fear that she will randomly try to greet people we don’t know anymore. Well worth it!

Benifits: I bought this product some time ago maybe 2 years, and have tried others too some before and some after and always go back to this one, my dog is 40kg and reactive due to attacks from other dogs (keep your dogs on leads)....Negatives: only two, 1st The adjustment clip (great idea) needs replacing with a metal one with a grip as the plastic one soon wears out.2nd safety clip is needed, while this is a good strong halter, and due to point 1 above, this product would be far superior to any others with the addition of a metal clip safety line attaching to the dog's collar or harness chest clip, while there is something to hold the neck part of this halter to the collar, this is insufficient.As mentioned I have tried many like this over the last 40 years and very powerful dogs, this is the best, in my opinion, these little improvements would clearly rate this product as the no 1 product of its kind for the protection of your beloved dog (aside form good training)Still 100% recommended, just bear in mind the noted weakness

Looks nice, well made and the comfortable padding doesn’t dig in as much as a Halti or Dogmatic - but my GSD still pulls like a train and it’s easy to for him to back out of it unless it’s strapped so tight it’s no longer comfortable… which defeats the object. Once he’s trained it’ll be fine but it’s advertised to stop pulling which, in his case, it doesn’t. Shame - really does look nice and less aggressive on him.

I don’t normally write reviews but I felt I had to on this product. We have a 1 and a half year old Siberian Husky that pulls horrendously. We tried everything from collars to no pull harnesses to treat training. However, he’s not a treat orientated dog due to only eating when he’s hungry. I’d heard about haltis been good to stop pulling and at this point I was willing to try anything. So I ordered this product and wow! Absolute instant fix! My dog stopped pulling immediately when I first put this on! I’ve never known something work so instantly. It’s comfortable for pup and fits perfectly! Could not be happier with this product! It’s made walks so much more enjoyable for both me and pup!

Cocker spaniel . Dog still pulls just makes it less strong of a pull up your arms. As he still pulls one of the face straps pushes up cuts across his eye so unable to continue use. Shame . Disappointed

If im honest I've always disliked these halti things . But I got one for my malinois as she pulls like an absolute train .Well not anymore she's so much more chill on it 😅 I'm actually able to get to the field without being dragged .It'd also the only halti she can't get out of due to the slide grip !! . Would highly recommend!!!

So glad I bought this gentle leader!Our boy was such a nightmare to walk on the pavements! He used to pull so hard, he'd nearly pull me straight over.One use of this, and he walks like an absolute dream. Before this, my elderly Grandad was unable to walk him when he looked after him for us. Now, he can comfortably walk our pup and not have to worry about being pulled over.It's easy to get on, and really soft material, so doesn't rub his snout.He does roll in the grass to try to get it off sometimes, but that's just while he gets used to it! :)This halter really has made pavement walking so much more enjoyable & he can still eat, drink & play fetch! So walks are enjoyable for everyone.I would say though, definitely best to take it off while playing with other dogs, as they could easily get caught in it!Overall, very, very pleased with this product!
