If you like Strats you will like this Great guitar!
Not sure we’re to start. I like Stratocasters have had several currently a player series plus top hss and an American ultra start sss . This se silver sky is a great guitar. Its light sounds great. Every bit as good as ithe American ultra. (Hardward seems to be a little better on the ultra ) The fit and finish is excellent. Honestly if it didn’t have the plastic coated tuner knobs and volume tone knobs seem a little cheesy. The fret work, fitting is every bit if not better than the American ultra. I love to try the. American series silver sky. I suggest if your in the market for a strat may want to pick one of these silver sky’s up and try them side by side. You be impressed for the quality and price range these are fun and comfortable to play.

John and Paul nailed it!……best guitar I’ve ever owned or played!…
These SE silver Sky’s are money! Much better than any Mexican fender Strat…….the neck radius is so good. Before I bought one, I went to guitar center and tried a core and an SE…..needless to say I felt more comfortable with the SE…….the intonation is amazing, as are all PRS guitars…….fret work is superb, neck is straighter than an arrow, and tone is as good as my vintage’61 strat……I actually prefer to play this over my ‘61!……..I can see why the silver sky is the #1 selling guitar in the world!…………if you haven’t bought one yet, your truly missing out! It made my playing experience oh so much better!……….i find myself playing it every chance I get……….i ordered a tortoise pickguard but am waiting for my JM silver slinky’s to install it……..I also ordered a core truss rod cover….

Great axe!
I love this guitar! Plays and sounds great and is a real beauty. I was told it could be a couple of weeks before I received it, but it was there in just a couple of days! You won't be disappointed.

Great Quality and Sound
Love this guitar. It was delivered quickly and had a lot of protective packaging. The fit and finish is very good and the sound is great for how much this guitar costs. Could not recommend more.

Where Do I Start (Stop!)?
The PRS SE line is simply the best bang for the buck out there...period! This guitar is everything you hope it will be and maybe a bit more than that. If you can get one, do it!

Best Strat. Best PRS.
After trying to love Stratocasters from Squires to MIMs to MIAs to Eric Johnsons, I never kept any of them more than a few months, Finally gave up on them. Tried ONCE more with the Silver Sky SE and WOW! It is all here, the sound (waaay better IMO than my best Fender), the feel, the neck, the balance and yes, I love the looks too. I took to mine to my luthier, as I do with most all sub-$1500 guitars and it did require a little setup work. Now it's just amazing and so much fun to play.I love it so much I bought the core version. I like this one better. The core does have extraordinary pickups with the cleanest most beautiful sounds I've ever played. However, side by side over and over comparison between them, this SE wins for me. It has nothing to do with the cost difference but rather the overall feel of the necks and the fret radii. I can smoke it blindfolded on the SE but the core's neck is a bit of a fight. That is just my opinion and many may feel the exact opposite. If this SE had the core pickups, I would have the guitar from heaven :)
