This car seat is fantastic. My child hated her previous car seat but this has different reclining positions to suit. It is very heavy and sturdy. Once in a car, this is difficult to move to another vehicle as it is so heavy. It is pricey but it is worth the investment as it will last until approx 4 years old. It does take up a lot of room in the car and also if it is in the full recline position and the child as still rear facing then your front seat does need to be pushed quite far forward. Overall, I would recommend this and feel it is a high quality product.

The swivel is such a good design I’m surprised that I’ve never seen one like this before. Easy to use and it really saves your back when putting kids in and out of the car. Especially in a small car you usually find yourself twisting and contorting yourself while lifting them in and doing the straps up in a permanently front-facing seat.The only real downside is that it’s EXTREMELY heavy, even compared to other car seats I’d have previously considered pretty weighty. The courier struggled to lift it into my house, so I’d assumed it had a load of extra packaging, but it was just the chair in a thin cardboard box!The weight is not such an issue if you’re only fitting it into your car once where it’ll stay but not ideal if you want to frequently put it in and take it out.The slightly larger size does mean that it encroaches a bit on the seat next to it in the car, but only an issue if you have an adult sat in the seat next to it, which we never do.The seat itself is popular with the kids in my family, who are now 2 and 3 years old. They find it comfy for sitting and more often than not fall asleep if the journey is longer than 5-10 mins, which seems like a vote of confidence to me ;)Britax is a name we know and trust, and we are particularly impressed with this model. Not so keen on the colour (would prefer something like dark grey) but that’s hardly important when the function is so good!

We have a currently seat similar to this so knew what to expect in terms of size and form. Firstly it is big and heavy to move around so those with 3 door cars may find this even more of challenge to fit than those with 5 door cars as the base and base support is all attached to the chair. That said due to this the fit and sturdiness of the seat is brilliant. It even has a bit that pushed back into the car seat for that extra security. Something which our current Iso Fix seat didn't have.Another bonus we found to this one is that the recline function is available to you whether you have the seat facing forward or backwards. Our Joie seat can only recline in the backwards facing position. The reason for this is that the base on this is quite a bit larger so keeps the seat distanced from the car seat in every position meaning your little one will also have more leg room. Please bare in mind this is quite a big seat, check it will fit in your car before you buy it. For reference it JUST about fits in our BMW 1 Series (2017 model) and Peugeot 208 (same year). Last note on a great feature, the swivel button is right on the side of the base making it really easy to activate when getting in and out of the car, something I wish our Joie seat has rather than having to force my hand between the car seat and child seat!Overall though given the cost, security and easy of use of it's features I would definitely recommend!

This is a model specially made for Amazon that differs from the standard one in not having the SICT insert (Side Impact Cushion Technology). It is nevertheless a heavy duty item well designed for safey with a neat ability to swivel 360 degrees and a slope which transfers some of the force downwards. It's easy and convenient to use and nicely padded and I don't think you'd be disappointed with it unless you are set on the SICT.Please be aware I haven't compared it with the competition so can't comment on the value for money. There seem to be a lot of cheaper seats on the market but I suspect these aren't so heavy duty and some are use belt fastening which is flimsier than the Isofix in the Britax.

This is the best child’s car seat I have ever seen. The colour fire red is brilliant and the quality is fantastic. This seat can turn 360 degrees so you can turn it to the car door so no more climbing in the back to do the harness or get baby out like I use to do. This has a compartment in the back that has the manual in but can easily store a few emergency nappy’s. The seat is ISOFIX with the support leg that goes to the floor. The seat has a 5 point harness for your child’s safety. The only criticism I have is the £300 price tag, I’ve seen a lot on here for less but not as good as this is it’s down to you but when we had our little daughter I would spend anything to keep her safe.

It weighed an absolute ton when I took delivery I literally had to push and slide it into the lounge..that said it was easy to fit and is sturdy and well worth paying that bit extra for. Loving the swivel as make life so much easier popping baby in he is happy as Larry in it and sleeps soundly..it will definitely fit up to a four year old so will get the years out of it that it states..defo recommend.

A fantastic baby car seat, which offers top quality protection for your child. Placed front or back, it has padding around every section, covering your child should you car be hit. The stand locks it in place and keeps it secure. Comfortable for your child to sit in, with straps that offer full body protection. It really is a very good product, and it's no wonder this company have been going since 1966.

Escribo esta reseña tras tres años de uso. Tengo que decir que esta silla es simplemente impresionante, es muy comoda y en todo momento da muchisima seguridad, el sistema de rotación para llevarlo en contra-marcha o a favor es muy suave y en ningún momento hay que hacer fuerza, las fotos son de la silla en el momento que nos deshicimos de ella, puede verse que los materiales han aguantado el uso de una forma increible. Absolutamente recomendable estar marca.

Vino solamente con un plástico abierto y etiqueta. Sin ninguna protección más.Tiene toda la pinta de una devolución; muy maltratada, la verdad.

Der Sitz ist super schwer und super stabil. Gerade durch die 360 Grad Drehmöglichkeit perfekt für unsere kleine. Das ein und ausladen ist jetzt super einfach. Aktuell sitzt sie noch gegen die Fahrtrichtung, ab 18 Monaten kann der Sitz dann um 180 Grad gedreht werden. Auch wenn er auf den 1. Blick kostenintensiv erscheinen mag, so geht es hier doch um die Sicherheit meines Kindes und der Sitz erfüllt alle mir wichtigen Kriterien mit bravour. Einzig der Überzug am Kopfteil löst sich am oberen Ende aus seiner Position. Schränkt zwar die Funktionalität keines Wegs ein, jedoch stört es optisch ein wenig. Mal schaun ob ich das selbst hinbekommen. Ansonsten volle Punktezahl!
