Durable and Fun Trainer
I bought this A560 trainer to learn. First time pilot here. I ended up buying this kit without the controller because I wanted the AT10ii transmitter. This way I can easily switch between different aircraft as I grow into this hobby. First time assembly was a breeze. In order to work with the AT10ii though, you must upgrade the receiver. I bought the R9DS receiver and PRM-01 telemetry module so I could get battery life alerts. Everything is basically plug n play with a little research and reading all the manuals. See my pics to see how I mounted everything. So far I have several hours flight time now. It's amazing how much confidence you gain from the flight controller. I programmed the AT10ii to match the stock controller switches so changing modes is fairly easy. The AT10ii even displays what mode you're in. I normally takeoff in beginner mode, do a few passes, then switch to more advanced modes to practice different tricks and landing.Despite what other reviews say, this thing is TOUGH! I am a total beginner. So I crash, a lot. I have full-throttle dive-bombed the runway, a fence, a boulder, the runway, the runway again, and a bush. Each time I crash, I fully expect this plane to be beyond repair, but a little hot glue or some of the reinforced packing tape (comes in the kit) and your up and flying in no time. Its way more abuse than a delicate balsa kit is capable of sustaining (I just built a Dumas Waco YMF-3 and there is absolutely no way it could fly after a crash without serious surgery). I have broken the A560 wings, ailerons, fuselage multiple times, and 3 propellers. After a quick repair, it still keeps on going! I know by the end of summer it'll be mostly hotglue and tape but that's the whole point of a trainer.. learn the hard way and don't trash a much more expensive plane trying to learn. The motor has taken several direct hits and it's incredible how tough it is.Needless to say, I really enjoy flying this plane. The YouTube videos dont oversell how much fun it is to do all sorts of tricks. I never thought I'd get so into this hobby, but it's so much fun! Obviously, I have a long ways to go in learning to fly, but I just had to write this review because the toughness is really incredible.I would recommend extra batteries (one of my worst impacts caused a LiPo to puff up) and extra propellers and O rings. Trust me. You'll need them if you're new to the hobby. It's worthwhile to calibrate it too (see instructions) otherwise you'll be trimming like crazy and switching modes does funky stuff without a proper calibration. One other thing: if the plane does a weird wobbly dance in the wind, you need to adjust the linkage on the aileron servo by moving the connection point to the furthest inside hole (there's a YouTube video on it) .. 100 percent resolved. You lose a little bit of travel angle of the aileron, but its still very nimble.

remote disconnect and amazon wont refund my return
I wanted it to be awesome but it disconnected 2 times and destroyed the plane. maybe if you used your own electronics. Then i sent it back but they said i sent a $13 item and is refunding that which is not true and they will not fix it or honor anything they just wont help at all and ups verify they picked the plane up but amazon is screwing me big time!!!

This plane will gain your confidence.
Coming from flying quads, drones & many land vechicals I took the plunge on this nifty kit..With the RTF you'll recieve everything needed. Still leary towards the cm210 mini charger (about the size of one's thumb). Yet tested on one of the bat's & it balanced out rather well (0.08v difference between cell 1 & 2)..Yet seeing it palse charge @2amps on a 500mah bat does consern me towards those that do not understand charging standards. It works - just be cautious of the included charger..Now as for the plane.Love how they moved the bat holder to the underside of the plane (compared to there v1 model)..The CG just seems spot on. No matter what 2s I install (even tryed a few 3s 450mah bat's & flys fantastic during flight)..Take your time during the first 'build'.. Make sure all screws are tight (mine were not but it's always good to be sure as for any flight). The transmitter is good..Not a toy feeling type yet not a "Zerro" either. Yet the gimbal are smooth & the Bluetooth function to allow for curve changes (umong others available within the phone app) is a nice touch..Windows pc software is also available (for those that may like it).So far I've ran 6 packs on this little guy on the same day as receiving it.Needed some relief as the Amazon driver tor up my yard upon delivery..As for the kit I'm very pleased thus far.But as for these Amazon drivers now day's.. Well, I'll letcha be the judge on that..Ordered a second rtf kit for mobile use & as I'll be keeping the first one out of the box for home use..Just remember this is a rather slow 3D plane. It's got the power to cruise quick. Yet if any stability is on you will get flutter if pushed to hard.Yet that's the design of this kit.Just to cruise & show off to other's with the illusion of being a better pilot then what one truly is..A great 2nd plane.Might be good as a beginner with the correct supervision had..If your on the fence thinking about buying one of these.Well just get it..Have to remember many reviews for this is from v1 models.Radiolink has resolved pretty much all complaints on this revamped v2 model. So keep that in mind..Very pleased....

Great rc plain for the money.
Easy to assemble, perfect backyard or small park flyer. Good run times, The reason it didn't get 5 stars is the factory setup is extremely difficult so you need to use the app to adjust the controller and servos. Make sure you understand the different modes. After I made the adjustments this thing is a blast to fly. Definitely helps to watch as many YouTube videos as you can about this airplane.

Don’t pass this up
If you are a RC enthusiast like me of all kinds and you enjoy flying aircraft. This is for you. This is the most unique plane I have come across it is truly amazing. What radiolink has done with this I would consider this a beginner to intermediate plane, but the experience flyer will certainly appreciate this plane and what it is capable of, and there is no other plane that can do with this plane can do. It is a joy to fly, and it even helps intermediate flyers like me who are slowly getting off of the safe mode’s the gyroscope on this plane is awesome tricks they can do is awesome. This plane is a must in your collection. It happens to be the most durable plan I own. It’s a blast you don’t have to worry about it. Busting up on you and you can push it to the limit to not have to worry about it. Seriously if you’re thinking about it, stop looking and buy it.
