I ordered 2 of these Amazon Basics Curtain Rods for Windows, in the 36" to 72" and the 72" to 144" lengths. Both came well packaged, with no scratches or dents on them. They had small cardboard spacers to keep the rods centered in the boxes and the included screws and wall anchors were taped to the hanging brackets, so as not to get lost in the box or rattle around. The rods are sturdy and were easy to hang. I am using them with grommet topped blackout curtains in bedrooms and they can easily hold the weight of 84" length. The included instructions were well-written with good illustrations; but, honestly, if you've ever hung curtain rods, they don't really need instructions.I wish that I had found these a few years ago, saving me the hassle of trying to match rods from the picked-over supply in a big-box store.

I've tried several different curtain rods, including the "Zerobee" for 66-120" but this curtain rod is by far the best! It's just two pieces and you can slide one of them to adjust length. I can't manage to screw it in to tighten and stay in place, but so far that doesn't seem to matter much. I don't exactly plan on my curtain rod. With only 2 pieces, it appears as one single rod, not like the Zerobee where you can see all the smaller pieces put together. I will probably return my Zerobee rod and exchange for one of these.The dark bronze is closer to black than I'd anticipated, but it looks good with my faux linen curtains in the living room. Very satisfied. One set of curtains finally done!
