Q: Is this genuine lambswool? And have you used (successfully) this on a random orbital waxer/polisher on my RV (full paint)?

This is a double sided 12 inch pad that attaches using the Oreck pad holder. It DOES NOT tie on like random orbit wool pads nor does it have velcro on the back to attach to modern random orbit backing plate. Do you have a 12" orbital polisher?

Q: how do you wash the pad

If my wife's washing machine isn't busy or out of order or unavailable I do itby hand. I find that small loads by hand save a lot of time. Always keep your pad clean for best results.

Q: do you put the bonnet directly on to the Oreck machine?

You should have a disc that came with the machine that fits onto the under-base of the unit. Fit the disc onto the underside. That disc has multiple spikes that hold a bonnet in place during rotation. Place the bonnet onto this disc and you will be good to go.
