I will say this: the syrup did taste watered down. I did have to use 2 doses within 2 hours, which finally helped me to fall asleep. The phlegm has diminished quite a bit, as has the cough. It is well worth the money, and does not taste horrible.

Its interesting. I had been buying a "leading brand" cough suppressant for a while and due to cost I decided to try these. There seems to be no difference. I use this typically in the evening before going to bed. It does seem to relieve my coughing for a while. The taste is OK, no weird after taste. The cherry taste (I think it's cherry) is fine and not too overpowering. Like any of these syrups it has a strong medicine like taste, but it goes away quickly. I have been taking half of what they recommend and I find no difference, and it lasts longer. Just on the basis of cost this is a good deal. Definitely recommend this if you are using a name brand product as they are the same, and this one saves you a bit.

This syrup has the two ingredients I desire for coughs and congestion relief. Dextromethorphan (cough suppressant) and Guaifenesin (expectorant). That's it ! I like to keep it simple without adding uneeded additional medications. This syrup has a pleasant taste, is effective and is a good value at this price.

This product met with my expectations as far as suppressing cough, and being non drowsy. It does not work instantly though. I found that after taking the recommended dosage, I still did cough for about 15 minutes, until things seemed to take effect and settle down. After that time, it worked effectively enough to allow me to sleep without waking up coughing. At this low price compared to big name brands, be sure to buy 2 bottles at once. The bottles are not that large, so when you run out, you'll be glad to have that extra bottle already on hand.

This works just as well as the name brand but for a fraction of the price. Tastes good which makes taking it easier. Coats your throat well to immediately soothe and ease coughing. Nice big bottle to get you through cold and flu season.
