Product didn't have a smoothe end, both ends were with spikes

Received it in an absolutely horrible condition as if it was used for a year already

Both sides are way too spikey/sharp and there is no smooth side.

Great tool—no moving part! Felt a hankering for Swiss steak, but it’s best made with a cheap, tough piece of meat. Looked in my kitchen for a tenderizer that I haven’t used in years, but in one of my decluttering fits, I must have given to a thrift shop. No problem! Amazon to the rescue! This was discounted to nearly single digit(s). Two day delivery! Went to the supermarket this afternoon and picked up a cheap roast. On the way home, I checked my mailbox and there was my tenderizer. It’s not complex. It’s just the right weight with a smooth surface and a knobbed surface. It’s fun to use and it makes quick work of those tough cuts. Glad I got it. It now sits quietly in my utensil drawer, until, like Batman, the call goes out. Or until I get another decluttering fit.

This is a great meat tenderizer! It does an excellent job pounding meat evenly and makes prep quick and easy. It feels sturdy and well-made, and the price is very reasonable for the quality. Super easy to use and clean, definitely a handy tool to have in the kitchen.
