It wears a replacement and actually an upgrade for one of my safes. The original only lasted a couple of years and one other the mother boards failed. I hope I have better results with this replacement. Easy to install installation instructions as well. I would by it again if it lasts a decent amount of time.

So many choices for these locks. With minor difficulties removing the old hardware I was successful. It's not an exact match, but works like a champ.

I have a 25 year old safe with a digital pad whose time had come. To get an exact replacement would have cost me a bomb because only the safe manufacturer's local distributor has it and they insist on an on-site visit to replace the keypad. No, the keypad is nowhere to be found on the Internet. Believe me, I searched.I took a good look at this keypad and its parts and cable and decided that its worth the gamble to see if it will install on my old safe. The only problem I had was carefully squeezing the supplied keypad cable plug through the safe's existing cable slot. It was tight!The only other work I had to do was to drill 2 new holes into the outer door to screw on the keypad's baseplate. I retained the old magnetic solenoid lock, whose plug fit perfectly into the new control board.Works like a charm!

My experience this product was not as expected. The reset button did not function as it was intended, nor did the keypad. The reset button is said to beep twice once pressed. It only beeped once. After entering the code, it appeared to take. However, when I entered the code to unlock the safe, the yellow, red, and green lights all lit up. The instructions say the green light was supposed to light up. This item was returned and I don't have the time to give it another chance.

Awesome replacement just needed the 14 pin ribbon to be honest but everything else was completely the same so i just used the keypad and program board it opens my solenoid and i got to keep my old keys.
