Cheap knife but serves the purpose well. I was looking for a cheaper knife to leave mounted to my kayak. This one fit the bill. Cheap, yet durable enough to use every day.

This guy was razor sharp out of the box so far it seems to be holding its edge I use it while diving in the marina to do maintenance on my boat I've used it to cut Crab pot ropes off of propellers and snagged lines and stuff like that haven't taken the greatest care of it but it's not really showing any signs of resting I am a little concerned because the handle is kind of a rope wrap which is hard to wash the salt out of I suspect it will ultimately start resting underneath the wrap but in a month or two it hasn't yetI'm a little disappointed in the sheath it's not very secure the straps to secure it to your leg or your arm or whatever or cut on the chintzy side and the locking mechanism to keep the knife from falling out of the sheath is not very secure the rope wrap kind of interferes with it and I have had it fall out of the sheath wall going through kelp so you got to be careful otherwise you'll lose it but for the price I paid for it I might have to buy a half a dozen of them and just have plenty of spares I would buy this again

It's kinda the under sized weak sauce version of a dive knife. It's not very big, it's got serations on the back which are a stupid idea usually. blade doesn't take or hold an edge very well at all.The plaster sheathing kinda has sharp ish edges where it digs into your leg. It did come with 2 holders and 4 straps, I ended up using a grinder to file down the hard sheath so it was flat on back and then just ran the straps along the outside of the sheath and super glued it so that it would be attached instead of going through strap loops. Because I shaved those all the way down, makes the profile of the thing about 40% thinner. Honestly I can't think of a situation in which this is going to be the knife your glad you have with you. It underperforms pretty significantly. You could probably use it to make sandwichs. Though wouldn't be able to clean it up after considering the cord wrap handle grips.

This knife seems to be a very good quality knife. Both of the sheaths are easy to use. The knife comes very sharp. The safety latch is very nice, easy to use. The one thing i have an issue with is my thighs are fat so it's not a very comfy fit for me.I can only use the stretchy leg straps and they are very snug. If I was smaller I would have no issues, so not really the products fault. I will be buying some different material to make a comfier fit for my fat thighs.

Well I haven't had much time with it but I'll tell u what it saved me from being a victim of robbery or who knows all I know is I carry three types of these and the cowards backed off and made nice as soon as I rised from the dark they had to of seen one sticking out loud off my backpack and I know that these 2 were up too no good ...they even told me..they were lol .....doing looking for licks I guess slang for anything too make some money ....violence isn't my style but nonetheless evil will unfold.be safe or dead sorry ...but yeah for the price I paid well worth it I say .. knife is intimidating even in a sheath..then again you got too be alert and get into character tip top and act like hooligan to blend in ha ha

This is just my self defense knife I do not cut anything with it but have shaved hairs off my arm just to see how sharp it is. Best way to keep your self defense knife sharp is to never use it.
