This is a professional searchlight with serviceable parts
It's a simply phenomenal light. Rugged, well built, feels like I spent money on a tool not a toy. The brightness is extremely high, I'm glad I went for the 70.3 HI instead of the 70.2. The extra bit of throw is extremely helpful because in turbo mode this light absolutely washes out the local atmosphere with the spill. A floodier light like the 70.2 would be so blinding that it would be hard to use in humid weather. It's worth every bit of the $450 price tag, in fact I went ahead and got the $180 extended battery pack as well. The charging time listed in the specs is approximate- the battery claims it can be charged at up to 100w PD, but in reality both the standard and extended packs top out at 80 watts instead. Not really a problem considering how convenient PD charging is, plus if you need additional runtime packs are easy to swap and go.The silicone thermal guard on the head is a nice touch, but I noticed on mine that after a few extended turbo cycles it kind of burned in to a "permanent hot grey" which defeats the indication feature. But the sound of the fan is loud enough that it's readily obvious things are HOT HOT up there.Handling and balance wise, the standard battery is kind of awkward with the carry handle. The light head is heavier than the pack which makes the handle carry only on my index finger (it wants to tip down). The extended pack has perfect balance though, all 4 fingers are carrying the light evenly.

A fast growing tech of light
Being a flashlight enthusiast for 20+ years. Have researched the whole internet about a month before buying this. The X75 is a milestone of flashlight, comparing the iPhone 4 of cellphone market. It is still a prototype of future flashlight but already handy and useful. Many ideas on it are great but delicate, which means will be upgraded pretty soon. Since you can easily find good reviews, here are some "need upgrade" feedback.1.The copper vaporizer will be rusted eventually. But I don't think there is better affordable solution nowadays.2.Only can be operated on the handle, so the handle is not removable. It's hard to find a carrier for the flashlight. I currently use a large hip pack.3.Eco/Power mode is almost no different while using but makes confusion.4.The flashlight is heavy for the thin handle, while I understand a full size aluminum handle will be a lot heavier, I would like to see they use plastic material like Magpul's products in the future.5.The turbo mode truly means turbo, and it sharply kills every part's lifespan of the flashlight. Also the turbo mode can last only a few seconds if the battery is not fully charged, which means if the battery getting old you may totally lose the turbo function.6.The hidden type C is absolutely a trolling idea. I hate to use it but laugh on it every time. No wonder Chinese will push the earth away to escape the sun explosion.I will mostly stay on 10k lumen for a longer lifespan. 5000k and XHP70.3 worth the money. I was struggling to pay extra for Amazon easy return service, or get the product directly from the official web but hard to return if the product is not right. Acebeam reflects the true Chinese industry level. Fairly expensive, a lot high-end features, and a few WTF but ok designs. I also bought some other Acebeam products, and to be honest the QC is very comparable to USA made. Wish the best future for the company!

AMAZING product - GREAT Customer support
Flawless product, with awe-inspiring design and flashlight. Technically (according to magazine articles) it is the 2nd brightest flashlight ever made. I previously purchased the #1 most powerful flashlight, but it was HEAVY and impractical. I had to sling it over my shoulder with a strap! Though it was very bright, that #1 most powerful flashlight got very hot and just wasn't practical for daily use beyond it's novelty value of, "hey, look at this brightest flashlight ever made." As someone who owned both flashlights, I can state with authority that this flashlight is indistinguishable in terms of performance and the light it puts out, but significantly lighter and more practical. We take it out every night to walk our dogs on a farm in the country.UPDATE. Our flashlight DIED, about 5 months after purchase and I was sad. I contacted the company (in China, but responsive by e-mail), and they replied to every email with steps to troubleshoot. It turns out that when you tighten the cap at the end of the flashlight (that you remove to charge it), the friction can sometimes cause you to loosen the base (the battery itself) and light & handle assembly (sort of two parts if you look at the picture). I was instructed to tighten the base piece to see if that would resolve the issue. Two small turns to the right and it worked again! Although the time difference required me to sometimes wait overnight for their reply, they were diligent and responsive and helped me solve the problem. The flashlight is again working perfectly. And it is a truly remarkable device. I am officially, completely satisfied with their product. And I felt honor-bound to revise my previously negative review (based on the problem I encountered) to this, 5-star review. I hope you enjoy their product as much as we do. I purchased another one as a gift and my friends report that they love theirs too.

Bright, bright, Bright. And not that heavy
I am a flashlight enthusiast, (nerd), and have many high lumen lights. I was in the market for a very bright but still relatively portable light. This one is great. It is brilliant in it's intensity, yet not so bulky as to make it hard to carry and use in the field. The fan that cools the battery when using the highest intensity is not that loud and is barely noticeable.I gave it four stars as the USB charge is hidden under the battery cap. It can only be charged by removing the cap. Also, it would have been nice if the battery was not a sealed unit, but was capable of taking four rechargeable batteries.Overall, a great light for the price and amazing throw.
