Warm Puffer
I purchased this jacket in a small for my 14 year old son who is 5’4 107lbs as another jacket/coat for him to wear (he has a heavier big coat). We live in Philadelphia and some morning are colder than others so him having the option to wear a lighter coat but still be warm was my main priority and my goal was achieved! My son loves his jacket and he told me that it’s warm while he stands outside in the morning waiting for his bus. I would definitely recommend this jacket to anyone! You will not be disappointed!

Good quality, but may not be for you depending on what you need
My desire was for a very lightweight puffer for backpacking. This is 'ok'. For the price ($45), it is likely better than other options here on Amazon, but I think you can get a similar, brand name option, on clearance/sale, for not much more. It is a decent quality, as someone who has nicer more $$ ones, this is not bad at all. But, it depends on how you will use it.Weight: 11.53oz (large, w/ Stuff sack)Quality:Decent. Well sewn. Good zippers. Does leak some insulation, but they all do. Very minimal. Again, not bad.Outer material is very thin...you do not want to treat it rough or go bushwhacking.Insulation is very thin....very very thin. Minimal. When you first get it, it's compressed. Over 1 day it has fluffed up a lot, so don't let the first impression of thinness detract. It gets fluffier. :)Temperature Usage:Option A) Minimal Layers under (1 long sleeve shirt)If active: 40F-45F at the low (think walking actively)If sitting: 50F-55F at the low (not for more than 30mins, less if windy)Option B) Thin Outer Shell (Marmot Precip) and Minimal Layers under (1 long sleeve shirt)If active: 30F at the lowIf sitting: 40-45F at the low (not for more than 30mins to 1hr...and less if windy)I'm in Colorado, I went out in one layer and this on a 40F night. Not warm, but not cold. If you were active, you would be ok for a bit. This is not a heavy winter coat. This is a medium temp jacket. The next night, we got 8" of snow. I went out and shoveled in temps between 25-30F. I had a t-shirt, a long sleeve, this coat, and the Marmot Precip. I was perfectly fine for the 30mins I was shoveling.Questions for you:1. how much do you want to spend vs how much should you spend?2. what are you going to use it for and where/when?If this isn't about weight:- If you are thinking about spending $50 on a coat...you should look at an R.E.I. or other store for better, thicker options- If you live somewhere it doesn't get cold, do you want this or a fleece? Cheap fleece is more durable and just fine.If this is about weight:- If you want something truly lightweight, sub 12oz or lower, go spend the $$ on it. Good options out there for sub $200. If you are going to use the coat heavily or on long trips, do that.- If the temp range is ok for you, and you don't have the extra $$, this coat is fine. For a few more ounces (say 15), you can get some solid options (Columbia, REI, etc.) for $60 to $80.Ultimately, this coat is not bad. But you should really ask yourself what you need it for and why.If you want something just to stuff in the car, rarely use it, and don't need to it handle very cold weather, this is a good option. You want something to go do outdoor activities and don't mind that it is thin and fragile, this could be a good option. My guess is that most people will fall into the category that they should buy something else.

The perfect travel coat
We travel a lot, and it is cumbersome to try to pack a coat if we're not sure what direction the thermometer will go while abroad or on a trip. My husband could not be without this coat! It is real feather down, and it squishes into a very small bag. It adds no weight to our luggage, and is perfect for cold or raining weather. It was a perfect fit...I ordered a large, and he normally wears a large. This is a great value!!!!

Pleased hard to please husband!
I ordered this for my husband who has had a much more expensive down jacket. At first he thought it was not sufficient, but our weather since we received it has been really cold. It does the job. I did not pay close enough attention when ordering and did not notice that it had a hood. The picture looked as if it had a high collar. This was the only disappointment.

Color is not white
This down jacket is yellow NOT white at all. And it is paper thin! Only gave it one star because I had to in order to write a review. Should have received no stars.

Except it had an attached hood!
Jacket is shown with "no hood", which is why I ordered it. It had an attached hood upon opening the package, and it was not a "hidden" hood, so I returned the product.....
