TakaneQuartz Clock Movement With 3" hands, for Dials up to 1/2" Thick, U.S.A. Made

Bought this to replace a mechanism that no longer worked. Initially I thought it was slow, but after a couple of hours, and a couple weeks later, it is spot on. Sent an email per the ad to pick out the style of clocks hands. They were included and the seller acknowledged that email. Wish the mailing fee was a bit less, but, considering the total cost of about $6, was thrilled with it. Excellent shipping and arrived quickly. This is great for any clock project or repair you are considering.

I ordered more than one, from different sources, when a 2nd clock stopped working.These arrived in 4 days, more than 8 days faster than the other one.Very clear instructions, with a diagram, on how to exactly install them into your clock face. It was very simple to do, but I still appreciated the inclusion of such.I have now had it running for about 10 days, and it is keeping perfect time - it isn't off at all.

This appeared to be just what I wanted and fit the clock perfectly. I installed and set the movement per included instructions, along with a new battery but it will run for only a few minutes or sometimes a few hours at a time. If you tap it then it runs for a bit longer. Guess I got a lemon. It is not worth my time to try and send back.

Arrived sooner than expected and all in one piece. At first I was concerned that the hands were missing. E-mailed the vendor and was advised hands were taped to box flap so they wouldn't bend. Be sure to check the box completely. Great buy.

What can I say--it works AND it's made in the USA. I didn't know that such things were made here. The movement was easy to install and the mounting for the hands seems a bit more sturdy than the worn out movement it's replacing.

It worked okay and was a good fit to replace the unit that had stopped working. No issues. Anytime you order a replacement movement, be sure you measure the step length and diameter to ensure it will fit what your replacing. Simply if you need a 1/2" shaft, be sure you are ordering a 1/2" shaft.

replaces the dead clock work that I had. Great. I was uncertain about the measurements and as a result the shaft on this is a little too long, but it works! Came only with the black hands so I wanted gold ones (couldn't find that option online) so I used the original hands I had which worked just great.

I was worried about instructions warning against turning clock in reverse when setting time, but I think it's not such a big deal. I mean you might turn it the wrong way at first before you determine which way is correct. It has been working fine now for about four months.
