So glad this band came back with a bang
You've likely heard or read somewhere that this album is very different from their first studio release. This is true. If the lead vocalist didn't have such a distinct voice I would have had no idea this was the same band. Both albums are great and, although it goes in a completely new direction, I still highly recommend this new one

Fantastic
I took a punt on this band, deciding to buy this album along with their debut after I heard a snippet of their song "What's Wrong" (which is taken from this, their latest album). I am so glad that I did take the chance, as they are quickly becoming my favourite band at the moment. Lynn has a great voice, and like with "White Noise," the songs on AWKOHAWNOH are cleverly put together. I can honestly say that there aren't any fillers; second albums can be tricky, but I think this has shown that the should go on from strength to strength. Can't wait to see them live later this month.

The Cursed Second Album? NOT HERE!
Got the early release signed edition which was a bonus, but still, what an amazing album. No notorious second album problems here, not as many kickers as their last but the band's struggles or recent are really reflected on these songs. Best 3 songs are the ones they released as singles already IMO... BUT... You'd be stupid not to do that right?!

The lady is angry
I like or love pretty much every song on this album. Usually when I give a rating to an album I pay attention mostly to the melodies, not so much the lyrics, and the melodies on this album are very pleasant. I listened to this album via Deezer before I decided to buy the CD for my car, and now is on repeat. There isn't much to say, I either like it or hate it, and I do like it in this instance, so thumbs up, five starts, all is well, give it a try if you like slightly disturbed lyrics and good music. The frontwoman is someone you probably don't want to run into when she's pissed off, as she could probably snap your head clean off, otherwise she's as lovely as they come.

I love it
Pvris never disappoint, this album is great! I still prefer White Noise but I can't complain, I love the sound of most of the songs and there has definitely been an improvement on the lyrics. The album came signed too, love it.
