The media could not be loaded. I really enjoy the sound effects of the Lemax Cocoa Cups ride. It's great that I can control the volume to suit my preferences. Since the ride operates on 110v, I used a transformer, and it works perfectly.

The unit came with a power supply connection for the UK. That problem could be solved, but the item was a gift for my granddaughter. She didn't like the piece, so I tried to return it. The seller, Ravewaves, located in the UK, will not accept a return. I will much more careful the next time I am shopping on Amazon.

Love this festive ride! Beautiful lights, so much fun to watch. Had to write a review because I've had it for a few years, turn it on often during Nov/Dec and it's been great. Def recommend. If you get a dud and you order Prime, you can just return/exchange at no risk. That's the only way I do it (other than buying at Michaels or DIY) just in case.

These cocoa cups worked wonderfully for about two weeks, my daughter was absolutely enchanted with them. But, like so many other reviewers, the cups started catching on each other and made the piece no longer move. I tried my best to either get a refund or replacement through Lemax, but Lemax has awful customer service with respect to purchases on this website (everything is "as is") so I was stuck trying to make it work or be grumpy about $100 bucks wasted. First, I used brute strength to "bend" the cup bases so that some cup bases were "high" and some were "low" so they could glide over each other. This was fast and easy, but then the cups themselves would get stuck. I started using a metal file, made some progress, but this took too long. Enter: the dremel tool! It took probably a dozen "cycles" around the full rotation to get everything sanded down nicely so the cups could move past each other - it worked! A couple cups look a little "weathered" but it moves and you really can't tell unless you know what to look for (otherwise we're going for more a rustic carnival vibe rather than a fancy carnival). Getting this thing to work was borderline my obsession the last few weeks, but I'm glad it got done and this is reassurance for all of you that it CAN be fixed if you run into this issue.

I love the Cocoa Cup Ride, but wish the sign lit up.Later I was watching the You Tube channel about people and their Christmas village set and saw this one person with the Cocoa Cup Ride and the was lit.UM, So I check my out mine, found out I had not pushed the sign all the way in. Once I did, it lit up and was beautiful.

I was hesitant to buy this as so many people on here were complaining about the cups banging into each other after awhile. It turns out they really do… It didn’t happen at first, but then one of the cups started hesitating for a split second every few rotations, and that threw off the whole balance of everything. Simplest solution was to just stop the one from rotating. Still a cute piece for my village.

Item is great, but would been nice if more of the lights that are on this ride would light up.I have more then 30 pieces from Lemax and I always been satisfied with it.
