Works great, easy to program
I needed a remote for the top of the steps, and put the remote that came with the fan at the bottom of the steps. No problem using two remotes. . This exceeded my expectations and I prefer it to the remote that came with the fan.Taking two screws out and pulling out the switch to replace the battery is no problem because the wires attached to the remote are very flexible and it puts no strain on the other wires in the box.

Works best in direct sight of fan
We bought a wall mount control because the other true remotes kept walking away from the kids rooms. This is basically a remote control just mounted to the wall. It is a bit tricky to operate- important to read the instructions because it’s not as intuitive as most remotes. We bought three fans with this style remote and the two where they’re in direct line of sight to the fan are great. The third is not and definitely doesn’t work as smoothly however we are happy with them.

Great product
It does work in conjunction with the remote that came with the fan. - I messed up when installing the batteries - on second look it made sense - but something on first installation led me to believe I put the batteries in correctly. As it did not program - I called and received excellent support to diagnose the battery installation issue.

Works great! No more lost remote
These are easy to install and works great. Has the same functionality of the remote. No need for the external remote and you can’t loose it!!

Does not work properly with Hunter Fan
Attempted to pair this in-wall remote with Hunter fan that came with a standard Hunter remote that no longer worked.Paired it three times with the fan and got the same result: the light works fine but the fan on/off control shuts the fan off but does not turn it on. Strangely, the "Fan Low" symbol (⌄) when pressed will start the fan in low and if pressed a couple of times it will get to medium speed, but no further. The "Fan High" symbol (^) does nothing, except if I press it several times and then it turns the light off (right??).Fortunately, I have a setup with Bond/Alexa voice commands and that still works fine; just wanted the manual control for backup or when I haven't had my coffee yet and can't remember the command :).I've always bought Hunter products over the years, including new remotes, and this one is disappointing.
